Backup Camera and GT500 spoiler?

I ordered my new ride with the rear backup camera and its really cool. The current rear spoiler is ok but I like the look of the GT500 much better. Has anyone had any success with this combo? Can the camera be accomodated in the GT500 spoiler or perhaps be moved someplace else in the rear?

I've seen it done. It was on the allfordmustangs forum. He just drilled a hole in the back and fed the camera through

That may work too...Wiring is currently in trunk so it shouldnt take much to get it the rest of the way down.

One of these 2 method will work I suppose.

Most people put the camera in the faus gas cap because there is already a hole through the trunk and you just have to cut a whole in the faux gas cap.

I was detailing the car a couple weeks ago and thought the same thing. It would almost disappear in there looking like a spot for the key.
Its on my 'to do' list for next year, along with suspension. spent enough $$$ on engine/traction mods this year.

You can use the Sync lock pick, SYNC Lockpick Install - Add a backup camera to your SYNC system

Ive already got the backup camera. Its built into the rear 'wing'. Was thinking of moving it but wont do it till next year some time if at all.

It's a factory option, factory installed.
