BACK UP FOR SALE!!!
NEED GONE ASAP!!!

Ive got a 2003 DSG GT coupe that im thinking about selling. Im thinking about buying a 99-04 roller and doing a termi swap. It is a VERY clean car. Im the second owner and it has a spotless carfax. I bought the car all the way from New York and Im in Nebraska if that tells you how clean it is.

It is a 5 speed and there are ZERO problems with the tranny or any part of the drive train for that matter. It is a GT premium which means, leather and mach 460 audio. The only modifications are a CAI, weld in flows, and chrome 04 cobra style wheels. I still have the factory intake by the way. I bought the wheels and tires brand new 2,500 miles ago. They are a 17x9 in front and 17x10.5 in the rear. It is a mean stance! I think it would look great lowered but I have tried to keep the car as stock as possible.

PRICE: $12,750

If I have forgotten anything please let me know and I will fix them ASAP.I will be tryig to get a few pics up here in the next few days or so. I CAN TEXT PICS ANYTIME IF YOUR INTERESTED!. Call or text for a faster response! If I dont answer you just leave a message with your name and number and I'll get back to you ASAP.

You can call or text me anytime at 402-720-9623

CAR WILL BE SOLD AS IS, NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, or IMPLIED WARRANTY

Broke 30,000 miles the other night. Still up for sale!

Not to burst your bubble, but you should probably take those 11k offers. I had my 2004 GT with 29k up for sale all last summer, had it on all the forums and local craigslist. It was 100% stock, 10/10 interior and exterior, sold it for 11k. Just to give you some idea. Book value doesn't mean much on these cars. GLWS regardless. Nice car.

Say what you want man, I already know you tattled on me and got me an infraction. Oh well. I've already been there, done that, with selling a low mileage GT. I wish you the best of luck selling your cars at book value, but you will be very lucky to get more than 11k out of a new edge GT without a power adder. There's so many of these cars out there that book value really isn't valid unless you're buying from a dealership...

Right but if somebody sells a cobra over book value it's worth it all day long huh?

Its not necessarily that your asking price is too high but more that you can get a mach 1 or 99/01 cobra for that price with decent miles. And spend a few more thousand and get a high mileage 03/04.

Good luck though man, hope someone picks it up.

New edge gt's are a dime a dozen, the '99-'01 Cobra's, Mach 1's and Termis are more sought after and less common of a car so when someone finds one that fits what they want, paying book or maybe even a little more is usually not a problem. GLWS OP!

I hate this. yes you can buy find a 03/04 cobra/mach with 50k or 29k in op case and its a $20,000+ cobra and $17k+ for a mach. i am sure somebody will say i bought a 20k miles cobra for $17k whatever dude its probably ragged. point being a cobra for $25k you can spend a few grand more and buy a used gt500 with more miles etc etc or a newer 5.0 etc etc its always something man.

Book value doesn't mean SHIT if you are selling your car private party. It's all about what people are willing to pay for it. The forums and Craigslist are flooded with mint new edge mustangs. It's simple supply and demand. When a car is rare and sought after(like terminator cobras and Mach 1s) the price will be high. I love cobras and Machs but with the prices they are going for in this market I would never buy one.

New Edge GTs are different than the Machs and Cobras. They made tons of them and everybody and their brother has one. They're great cars, I loved mine, but they are by no means rare. When you have such a high supply, the value of the car will go down. It's simple economics.

I'm not trying to tell you guys what to do, just telling you that I spent an entire summer trying to sell my 2004 GT. I'm not kidding when I say that it was one of the cleanest New Edges you'll find. I started at 13.5k, I didn't get a SINGLE offer for a month. I had it on here, corral, stang net, moddedmustangs, and my local craigslist. Then I moved it down to 12k, got a little interest but no bites. So then I moved it to 11k, it sold the next day.

You can put a high price on your car if you want, after all it's your car. I'm just trying to tell you that if you actually want a quick sale price it right and get it over with. Is it really worth waiting 5+ months to sell your car for $1,000 more than you would get if you just priced it right the first time around? For me, after my experience selling mine, I would have just put 11k on it right away so I didn't have to deal with it anymore.

Sure sure you can think whatever and supply and demand is the case with anything unless the government is involved and my car is listed at $11,900 and i would take $11k today. Cant find a car within 300 miles with less miles, cleaner, and as many mods but yet its supply and demand huh? so what price it way under $10k? um no then i lose a ton of cash on it.

oh thats right it isnt a 600 hp car that has dents and scratches all over it that will go for $15k in one day my bad. It is clean as can be but i forgot that means nothing these days if its stock it isnt worth as much? oh wait i thought stock cars went for more money? apparently those book values were wrong too

I started 5 months ago around $14k and now down to $11,900 and like only a few bites and its cause it isnt a fast turd but looks good and clean nobody likes that anymore you may not admit it but its true

you think we are high on prices

Your car has what, like 60k miles on it? It isn't worth even 10k, sorry. It's an 02 vert. If it was a 40th anniversary edition..MAYBE 10k and that's pushing it. How good of condition a car is in makes a huge difference in selling price, but you're not going to get more than 9k for a 2002 GT with 60,000 miles on it. I've looked at thousands of these things and I can tell you right now your price is wayyyy high.

Not everybody wants a modded car, sure lots of people do, but there's plenty of people who want stock cars. You're just a lot less likely to find those people on a MUSTANG ENTHUSIAST FORUM whose purpose is to aid people in modifying their cars. List your car on autotrader or ebay.

Cobras are very overpriced too IMO. The difference though is that people are willing to pay the premiums to buy them. Competition orange is the most sought after color so of course the price will be high. Same with the SOM f-body camaros. It is what it is. There's only a certain amount of them and tons of people wanting one...again, supply and demand. Whereas, your car is a laser red mustang gt convertible. Laser red is one of the least sought after colors and most people want a coupe, not a convertible. You can be upset about that all you like, but it's the truth and the sooner you realize that the sooner you will sell your car.
