We played a little, where traffic allowed. Stopped and swapped contact info.

Don't know if he's on here or not. May not seem like a big deal to most, but it's not too common to see a Shelby in Alaska, let alone two.

Now that i have mine i started to notice there are more around than i thought. The only 14' i was aware of was the black one that came and went from Cals right after i got my 13' in May. Is that a KENDALL plate on that car or an actuall liscense plate? My plates for my 13' just came like 2 weeks ago so if it is a 14' he sure got his plates fast.

Yep, he got it from Kendall, can't remember timing, but he's already over 7k miles! I DD mine since I got it last September, and am only at 6700.

You're the only other Trinity I know of in the area; have seen a few other Shelby's, but not many. This has been the perfect summer to have one.

NO, Alaska is not in CANADA btw.

Way cool to see two in Anchorage. I was at Elmendorf for 7 yrs. Had a 86 Buick GN. In mid February 1989 the temp dropped down to 20 below. The streets were clear and that turbo car seemed like it picked up another 100 hp.

Would live there now...but just too darn far from family.

Is this guy serious?

Locate Alaska and tell me where it is if it's not in Canada.

(PS... It's Canada)

So, the 49th state is located in Canada (lmfao). All this time i thought we were American, guess were all Canadian, eh.

Hawaii is the 49th state wise guy. Washington DC is the 50th.

Ever wonder why you need a passport to drive to Alaska? ...

Because it's Canada smart guy.

I just can't resist sitting by and not replying. The U.S. has 50 states including Alaska. If you need a passport to drive there it's because you are driving through another country (Canada). The District of Columbia is not a state. It is a Federal district. By way of example, the Miss America pageant has 51 contestants. 50 for the states and 1 for D.C.

OMG, I cant beleave i have to argue this but :dw:

My car club better change its name from the 49th state street rodders then
http://www.akstreetrodders.com/

A bit of education for you , Alaska was purchased from Russia on March 30, 1867, for $7.2 million and was made the 49th state of the U.S. on January 3, 1959.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska

Hawaii was #50,
Hawaii - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And no you dont need a passport to drive to Alaska from the lower 48, you do need to drive thru Canada to get here but a valid drivers liscense is all you need (well unless your a felon or have had a DUI, then Canada wont let you drive thru there country). Or you can just fly, much faster.

I sure hope this guy is just pulling our chain's, appoligies to Husky for running off with this thread.

Can't believe it's that easy.

I apologize Husky, but after I dropped the bait the fish were more willing to swallow the3 hook than I anticipated.

I didnt realize you were located in Cana-laska though. Ive seen footage of some highways throughout the state and its stunning.
