We all know Terminators are better than the 5.0's :poke: so I had to do something about that. Finally got back in the (small) power game.

Bought the TVS from (Deepblue13), great guy and smooth transaction. Installed it a couple weekends ago with a lot of help from Ryan (03MachMe).
Street Tuned by Kevin (04Sleeper) with a lot of help from Shaun at AED. Shaun is one of the most stand up guys in the business and I highly recommend him.

The install was pretty simple. Put on Koni Yellows and the TVS in about 10 hours. Stock 90mm pulley, O/R H, JLT Big Air CAI, 2013 GT500 axleback.

I'll be getting Dyno numbers and track numbers soon. I mainly wanted a safe tuned car I can enjoy before I tank the glass MT82. Here are some photos of the car and leaf blower.

Well since you bought the TVS from the guy that I had wanted to get a ride in his car, I guess I get to ride in yours now. :D

Sounds good. I'm sure I'll have it out soon.

That is sexy as hell. Suspension and wheel setup? Looks perfect.

Thank you! H&R race springs, KONI Yellows, BMR Adj panhard, LCA's and relo brackets. Eibach front and rear adj sways. Wheels are Forgestar CF10's in brushed titanium. 20x10 and 20x11. Invos on the front and 555r's on the rear.

Looks amazing as always!

Just out of curiosity, which strut mounts did you use with the Konis?

Thank you! I had a set of brand new stock mounts. So far so good.

REALLY REALLY NICE. Love the pics...especially that rolling shot. I look forward to seeing some numbers and times. A video would be nice too. I sure hope the tranny surprises you and holds up.

You have an amazing 5.0. Now it's ratcheted up a couple of notches with that TVS. Can't wait to see your numbers.

Thanks everyone! I'm really enjoying it. Probably my most favorite car to date.

Car looks great. How does the blower feel..

It's pretty surprising. I had a 98 Cobra, spun a bearing and swapped an 03 motor in. That car, by the seat of your pants, felt faster. I think it's because it was more rough and raw. The 5.0 is so smooth. You don't really realize the power and speed till you look down and see the Speedo sweep. That's when I was like ohhhhh yeah that's faster for sure. If I had to guess it feels like I'm putting down about 550-560. I'd be surprised if it is more than that. Right now I really want a good handling, quick, safely tuned car. Not looking for big numbers yet. I'd like to get close to 600 with either a smaller pulley or switching over to E85 and leave it alone until I either feel like dropping some money for an Aluminator and t56 or the stock motor lets go. Right now it's on 93 at 15.5° timing and 11.4 A/F ratio at WOT.

woops double P!

btw KW, what % tint do you have in the driver/pass windows?

Honestly not sure. The rear glass and quarters are "limo" and the fronts are the darkest legal.

this thread is worthless without vids!!

I'm working on posting the initial start up. I'll try to get a walkaround and maybe a small pull video before the end of the weekend. This glorious 104° Texas heat is lovely.
