not too impressed. had to readjust one of the latches because the last panel of the cover wouldn't come undone when it was closed. also - looks like one of the panels is coming loose from one of the aluminum crossbars. time will tell if the glue fails.

it came highly recommended, as did staying away from the retractable rolling covers (if you use your truck offroad) - but i liked my truck covers usa cover a lot more than this thing.

Very nice, I'm gonna be putting my rigid on my windshield when I get my brackets. I took them off my JK that I traded in, which by the way, nice JK. Would love to have both

good news - corsa exhaust showed up today.

bad news, well not really - dropped the truck off this morning to get the flares painted.

Nice mods you got going. I think I am done until spring. Spend the winter mulling over my options.

well.......body shop effed up and the paint didnt match. dont know how they didnt catch it. they pulled the truck around half in the sun, half in the shade, and you could obviously see the shaded side the flares were a lot "whiter" than the truck.

so im going back tomorrow to meet with the crew and see if this can be rectified, and done quickly. if they cant match it the second go around, im going to demand they replace the flares with all new factory flares and clips.

me too - there wasnt enough gray in the paint. was just a real stark white against the oxford.

I look forward to seeing the end result. I could go either way but myself but every truck I've seen so far with paint matched flares looked pretty damned good. The white should look especially good.

the color on my truck is odd. a lot of gray in it. you can tell a lot especially in sunlight - the drivers front fender is a lot grayer than the doors. but then you switch angles and the color is perfect. the flares are about a 97% match. look great at certain angles but then theres one certain angle that the color is off. im gonna try and polish out some of the orange peel in the front fenders to see if that helps smooth out the color transitions.

installed a few more things today:

Corsa exhaust - love it. really like that i can drive around with no drone whatsoever, but its more pronounced than stock esp. at wot

DeeZee tailgate assist - no more dropping the tailgate and having it slam down:

JLT oil seperator: keep some of the oil out of the intake track. ran one similar to this on my 2002 harley f150 and it kept a ton of oil from reaching the blower.

also done - but didnt take pics - drop-in k&n and factory bed extender.

then i thought that looked kinda cheap

so i busted out the exacto knife and some patience:

looks a lot better to me - even if its still chrome.
