Got Van's specially priced suspension package and had it installed today (to specs provided by Van over the phone). BAD ASS - looks amazing and the handing and hold are off the charts! Van takes the definition of customer service to another level. He'll help you take care of your ride like it's his own. Also have his 13-6 kit - another must have!

What specs other than pinion angle? I'm putting mine on this Saturday.

I know it wasn't directed at me but I set mine at -2 with the UPR mounting bracket set with the top hole location. Haven't tried out my LC features just yet so I cannot vouch for the way she hooks now but I do recommend getting a Crows foot attachment as you do your adjustments.. I cannot recall which size wrench it would be in Metrics but in SAE it took a 1 1/2" size wrench to tighten everything up.. That area is very very tight and would have/could have been much easier with crows foot or shorter wrench..

Good luck! You will love the setup

Another thing I forgot to mention and I believe the instructions MIGHT not include this but Van mentioned this by phone with me is to have your BMR UCA measured out to the same distance as stock UCA once you remove it from the car. This will save you ALLOT of frustration once you mount it to the car and should make your adjustments minimal..

I did mine on a lift then alternated with jackstands when I needed to put weight to it.. Are you also running lowering springs? If so, make sure you get scheduled in for a wheel alignment ASAP since you altered all of your factory adjustments.. Van told me to get it "laser aligned" and I was lucky to set my appointment 4 miles away from where I did my install.. Cost me a mere $49 to have it done and it took all of 20 minutes..

Pinion Angle Between -1 and -3. I have found -2 to be a very happy medium for many cars.

The single adjustable rear lower control arms allow you to articulate the axle so that it can be a zero thrust angle. Basically a zero thrust angle makes the rear axle perpendicular to the drive line.

It's all good!!

WEW ok then I got it straight.. The way this car hugs the road through the turns is a thing of Beauty! I am glad you suggested going with the Adjustable LCA set-up vs. the "cosmetically appealing" ones I initially called you about.. Now if I can just convince myself to take the plunge into the MOD abyss and get that 13-6 kit on order.. :)

This suspension is "Mod Phase 2" for me. Phase 3 will be adding power. It's not a matter of will I do it, it's a matter of which one (13-6 or Blower Upgrade). For now I'm leaning toward the kit because I can get the kit, long tube headers, a mid pipe, and new wheels/tires for the price of just the blower. I'll probably want the blower later on but with the kit option purchased first I'll only have to ditch the CAI and throttle body when I swap, allowing me to keep the long tubes and mid pipe (and lower pulley?) and then get it retuned. Plus I'd already have the sticky tires. If I could use the full potential of a blower upgrade right away without internals or octane being a limiting factor, I'd opt for the KB. Anyway, now I'm rambling off topic again... :bored:

I don't know that I would call it an abyss! LOL

It's as simple as a Cold Air Intake, Tuner with Tune and a Throttle Body. You could de-mod the car in 30 to 45 minutes or less if you needed to for whatever reason. Simple bolt on power.

Suspension mods are a must do on these cars. My pinion angle is at -2.

Agreed.

That is similar to what I did with my 2013 with the exception of the 10% OD Lower. Then I added the KB 2.8 and then the headers.

19 PSI at 6800 RPM with 100 octane, Long Tubes and a KB 2.8 with a 2 7/8 upper pulley 816 RWHP

I am on the fence with getting the kit....my only hold back is finding a shop that would install it correctly....knowing me I would miss place something and get all pissed at myself and then total chaos would push me over the edge heheh

Only thing holding me back is that I already scrape getting in and out my alley to enter my garage. LOL

I know it defies logic but we have the front splitter installed and it doesn't seem to scrape any more since it has been lowered than before. My only guess is the rest of the suspension mods control the rebound more.

I guess I could still do the kit without lowering springs as well?

Absolutely. I also have an option for rear lowering springs only so you can get a more linear rake and not have to worry about the front.

If you're interested in no springs give me a call and I still have enough time today to get the suspension shipped today!
