SuperFly, my thoughts exactly which is why I bought it. I could only dream of having a car like this to track with and somehow now it's reality. I'll give impressions once I get my hands on it. Now I have to sell my beloved '07. She's awesome and it's kind of like ditching the prom queen for a rock star.........maybe just a little bittersweet?

Huge thanks to Van for pulling this together QUICK......and thanks to Slocum for being very easy to work with.

Enjoy the car! Congrats on the purchase.

Just putting out an update on this car. I picked it up in San Diego and drove it back to Seattle. I got 24 mpg on the trip home! The car is a monster. I have not driven it much since I've been back, but my hope is to swap to the stock size crank pulley and get it out to the track mid-October before the season shuts down here.

All of that said, I listed my black '07 in The Market section today. Truthfully, I'm very torn as to which car to keep because that car has this weird place in my heart and I would continue with my own modest modding approach to it. So I'm putting out a feeler on this car again to see if anyone who had interest before may still be interested. I have gone back and forth on which car to keep many times and I'm struggling mightily with the decision. I figure I'll have someone else make my decision for me with whichever one sells first. Either way I win in my opinion.

LOL! I certainly wish I could but that would really piss off the bill collectors. My wife and kids say, "Keep the black one!" My track buds and mechanic say, "Keep the white one!" It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Switch motors and keep the black one. You can sell the white car with you old motor to carmax and walk away. Those tail lights and lambo doors are hideous.

Go with your gut and turn off the voices in your head. You made the purchase because you wanted it. Don't regret letting go of the prom queen. You wanted down and dirty with the rock star so get down and dirty. Turn the dial to eleven on your new found love and hold on!

Actually, the Griggs TT chassis is really what sold me on this car and the motor was a bonus. I have the OEM door hinges. Door hinges and tail lights back to stock are in the plan.

As you know, this whole thing has been a bit of mind f$%k for me. That is exactly what I said to myself when I posted the black one a little bit ago, and then I said ah what the hell and posted here too. Que sera, sera!
