good news: had the wheel wells line-xed today.

bad news: truck has to go back to paint. some of the tape took a little bit of the paint off the flares. not a big deal, just more time wasted.

spent some quality time up at Addictive Desert Designs today - venom series front/rear bumpers with rigid 20" combo e-series and 60* diffused duallys respectively, and their rear brace/bumpstop kit with fox bumpstops and custom deaver leafs. only have pics of the bumpers now - once i get the truck cleaned up i'll post up some better ones.

Nice! You ARE stepping up your game a little bit.

haha - maybe a little. just want to make sure that the weak points of the truck are addressed before i start my offroad adventures in it.

just have to get the hood/windshield light brackets and mount up the dually d2s and i'll be done for a while.

decided to break up the gray of the grille/lights a little bit. just a subtle change with black satin vinyl. had a local place do it.

also had them put some clear paint protection film on the painted space between the door sill and the running board to prevent that painted area from getting too beat up.

Looks great!!! For some reason though, I feel like the bumpers would look better painted white to match???

Continues to impress! I have been thinking about what to do with the lettering to change it a bit. This might be the ticket... Thanks for the pics.

I would say you have put together a great set-up. First real good look I have taken at those tires, they got some tread! Time to have fun...

as much as i dislike mudflaps, i added the pdp ones to my truck today. i can honestly say that they dont look too terrible. hopefully they grow on me. set them a little higher than i probably should have, and they are set in just off the outside edge of the tread - but they are even with the outer edge of the running board.

Still debating the mud flaps. Like you, never really cared for the look. But in the interest of preserving my investment, may have to reconsider. Yours do look good. Still debating...

Pixel Decals . com comes through again - used a lot of their stuff in the past - always a good product. this time did the american flag in black/reflective vinyl. gloss black at some angles - silver reflective at others.

woot!
