I have a hard time getting good pictures of our white car. Too much light seems to wash it out quite a bit, losing the style lines of the car.

After 9 months & 12K miles, this is by far the best Mustang of the 5 I've owned. I still love our 88GT but this car is just so quick and has such a huge top end. It's hard not to love this car!

Shadow, I see you changed all rear cosmetic, what did all that run you (bumper, tails, etc) I want the new lights but as I understand I have to get the new rear cover for them to work.

Actually, it's the opposite. Our car is a 13. I bought a used set of 12 grills and installed them to better protect our radiators. Plus, I like the look of the older grills better.

You don't NEED to get the rear bumper cover. If you use a 10-12 rear bumper cover, there will be a small triangular gap under each of the lights. On a darker car, it is hard to notice. Search other sites like the Mustang Source, I think they have pictures of guys who have switched to the 13/14 rear lights without switching.

There is also a company that sells the parts as a kit but I think the price was close to $3K for all items.

If I find the thread again, I'll provide a link.

Newbie to SVT forum Shelby KR

Newbie here.. I bought a 08 Shelby KR in June. Heard a lot of good things about this SVT forum. Look forward to some useful banter.

Well... it made it to PA, :burnout:and I will have to wait two weeks to take deliver, credit union messed up the VIN, awaiting update, and some business travel in the mix as well. I could not wait to take a look, so last night, checked it out, started it up.. not prepped yet, just off trailer. I have a couple iPhone pics, just need to figure out how to post. Heat this week should be testing some cooling systems... any issues?

My '12 GT500 next to the wife's '68 coupe

I like seeing the contrast between Mustangs decades apart :)
I just bought the 500 a couple weeks ago. We've had the '68 for ~15 years.

My black '09. I bought the car in Aug of 2012. I test drove a new black '09 at a dealer in Indy in July of 09, but couldn't strike a deal. The 2010's were out, sticker was $47,600 & the dealer would only come down $600, so I bought an '09 GT instead.
In August of '12 a buddy told me that a used black '09 was in the showroom of the dealer here in my town. I went in & looked it over, & it immediately thought it looked familiar. I had them check, & turns out it was the same car. I wasn't going to let it get away from me again, so I jumped on it. Karma I guess.
I love driving it, & I can't wait for this crappy Indiana winter to end so I can pull the cover off, detail it, & get it out.
