Its an awesome shifter!
Long instalations as far as shifters go but its well worth the money and effort.

I got mine on the same day, we've must've been in the same batch. ;)

They don't come with instructions anymore, you'll have to refer to the 1 hr long video they posted on their website

I had the video trying to go in the garage but I got tired or waiting on them so I just did the install on my own. Its a night and day difference though well worth the money.

I got mine on Friday also. It was ordered on 10/5. I was in the middle of the install and got called out for work for 6 hours. The boot was a pain to get in without any wrinkles underneath. The test drive after the install is the fun part!!

Good for you guys that just got your shifter installed! Thanks to the factory garbage shifter, It takes a few miles to fully trust the MGW shifter before you can really slam the 2-3 shift, at least for me it did...

The boot is a bitch to install, but if you leave the rear bracket loose, install the boot and then tighten the bracket it's much easier

Did they do away with the red bushings? I just have two white bushings (they seem to be a plastic of some sort) already in the base of the shifter. They are two halves on each side, if that makes any sense

Yes, no more red poly bushings.

How come they did away with th poly bushings? Any difference between the red poly bushing and the white ones they manufacture the shifter with now?

The white ones are much stiffer and have natural lubricity. MGW actually machines the new bushings in house, from solid stock.
