There no stock or tune only cobras running 11.9-12.0 or faster. Thanks for proving my point.

5.0's have ran 10's with bolt ons too..... and they haven't been out over a decade.


It's not as easy as throwing bolt-ons on a Coyote and you doing 10's. I'm working my way down to the 10's N/A and I'm here to tell you, there is a lot of weight loss involved if you want to keep the long block stock.

There are plenty of bad ass Cobras out there. I've raced them at the track :)
Once you start modding cars, it's silly to try and do direct comparisons. There are way to many variables. I know a Cobra with a ported Eaton, bigger heat exchanger, pullied, dr, and exhaust that is running 11.4 @ 125. Not bad for a 10 year old car :)

i just happen to have a Jeep than "needs" a V8....

i've been on the "Ford should make a new Bronco" team for a very long time. as a die hard Jeep guy i would trade every Jeep in America for a factory solid axle, real xfer case, removable top and doors, 5.0 NEW Bronco!!!!

unfortunately, i don't see them taking Jeep on at their game. if the concept is any indication, it'll be a watered down mall crawler. more like the new Cherokee... what a joke!

after the first bolt gets turned on either car there is no direct or equal comparison that can be made.

it's either compare them 100% stock for stock or dollar for dollar potential.

stock for stock it's a drivers race... period!

Yeah it has to be stock for stock because where exactly do we draw the line on the modified cars??

John Force still calls this his Mustang and the Pony on the grill is about the only part of it left that may be factory.

A bolt on coyote in the 10's? Must have nitrous. Just seen the vid of a bolt on coyote with nitorus beat a lambo in the other thread.

If your talking about my vid, that was all motor. No nitrous on those runs as I'm still sorting the car out. I was blowing spark out so I ran all motor that night.

Yea I was mistaken on a NA coyote being a 10 second car, and your car being all motor vs that lambo. Good shit.

I'll be testing again tomorrow night with nitrous and if all is good, I'll have a rematch against the same lambo on spray.

1. What are you expecting as far as numbers at the track with nitrous?

2. Did the lambo add any mods since the last race?

1. I'll be happy with anything under 10.99 but I'm hoping to go 10.80's (still on %100 stock suspension except springs)

2. The lambo is exhaust and tune only. No other mods planned for the car, he already has a UGR lambo, this one is just a cruiser. I know I will win on the bottle, the rematch is more for me to gauge how effective the spray is vs motor. I'll throw some vids up in the other thread when we do.

Shit thats my goal also. A 10 second daily driver. Yea I was wondering whats the point of racing a car you already handily beat all motor but I see where you're coming from. Vids are a must so dint forget!!!!!

How are you not hoping down the track? The wheel hop on these cars are complete crap.

I guess I got lucky, I've never felt any wheel hop in my car on the street or track nor when I was stock vs lowered and bolt on's. I launch anywhere between 3-5k at the track depending on prep and still zero hop. Car hooks well and consistent 1.6 60's

Edit: well see how "lucky" I am this Friday when I spray it off the line. Lol

The more i think about it. Seems like my wheel hop got worse when i installed the Aluminum driveshaft. But i got LCA put on and am about to order some UCA to see if that solves the problem.
