If anyone is interested in a BNIB red Flossy knob, I've decided to go with a black one instead. It's been sitting in a box for months and I'd like it gone

$100 shipped

Hate mine. Modern Billet Retro from AM. Like the feel, just not the look. Want something different but it's not priority for me to spend money on it lol.

Speed dawg knob and MGW jam nut.....I trie to get the knob a little lower than with the boot retainer I have so I used the jam nut.....kinda wishing I had gotten a boot with the small opening now.

Just got my Boss knob and "premium leather" required boot from Mike R. at Autonation Ford. Gotta say, I don't know how manufacturers get away with calling something leather that isn't. Oh well, I guess I can't say much for $30. At least it looks nice.

Finally get to show off my knob

Flossy Grip tape Heavyweight weighted at 545 grams

It really helped with the notchyness of the MT82, but also reduces felt vibration and gear noise also. I have an un-modified Whitline trans bushing and a Barton 2 post bracket, it helped reduce the NVH inside the car. Love it and don't think I could ever go back to a regular shift knob, well worth the money!

I wish the boot adapter collar size would match the collar on the knob. May have to turn one on the lathe one day to match, but happy for now.

I like that Flossy grip tape knob. is it real rough? like it doesn't seem like it would wear on your skin?
Its not like skateboard grip tape, thats just a name they use for the knob. It has a textured, or wrinkle powder coat finish is all. Not even close to coarse enough to sand away at your skin. Its quite pleasant IMO, not rough at all.

Never heard of flossy before this thread, but yours got me interested. Did a little research and had to try it for myself. Loving it and I could never go back to stock now!

Same as above, Boss knob, "premium" Boss leather boot. Haha on the premium leather part. I will say I think I'd like a slightly larger knob, I'm guessing this one is 2". 2 1/4" sounds about right.

How long did it take to get your Flossy knob? I ordered one almost a month ago and haven't gotten an email from them about it being shipped or anything since the 12th of last month. I ordered the Booberry.

Mine took two weeks to be made and shipped. I didn't get any updates when I ordered mine either so I called them and they were really good with customer service and letting me know when I should expect it. Call them.
