Hey guys, my friend sold his amber tails. So I heard this a write up somewhere on how to wire gt tails in. So anyone has it or can tell me I will love you long time.

you have an 04 and want ot put amber taillights in with the amber turn signal?
I think this is in the terminator how to section.....Entitled "how i stole some amber tail lights from a new edge cobra for my termnator"...;-)

I could be wrong, but it sounds to me like OP needs instructions on how to install regular GT taillights in a car that had the ambers previously.. Here is a thread I saw:

maybe..Also the separate cobra turn signals can be kept with the GT lights if you are ok with red turn signal lenses:
1. file down the plastic nipple where the corner lights go
2. drill a small pilot hole at that center point.
3. drill a 1" hole with a hole saw.
4. file and test fit notches for the turn signal connectors until they can be dropped in and turned into the new light hole.
You will need to build up the area with another seal ring or with silicone for a tight fit around the connector.
Aside: I suspect one could use bright yellow LEDs for the turn signal, and with a red lense the color would look amber....but I haven't tried it yet.

He is going from his stock 01 tails to gt tails. I've got it working but when you have the signal on and push the brakes the signals won't work. I'm stumped. I can't find anything about going from the ambers to the gts.
I modified my GT lights to have a corner signal; so that's how i got around all the wiring crap.
I just drilled a hole for the turn signal socket. Something different.
The GT uses a different flasher unit...for the 3-wire lighting..
Not sure what you did there.
Also maybe make sure the bulbs are the 2 filiment bulbs..
You may have to reverse engineer the instructions for GT to amber newedge cobra lights.....doing the last thing first..to first thing last...

Found this somewhere in a forum a while ago and used it on a friends 99 Cobra to convert to GT tails... worked perfectly:
I know that this is a very old post, but I want to add some information to help out anyone that wants to add gt tailights to a cobra harness. Ill make it short, simple and easy.
First off, get a regular gt tailight bulb harnesses and replace your cobra taillight harness with them. Now match up the wires from the gt bulb harness to your existing body harness by either splicing or using a new conector, doesnt matter how you do it just match them up. Light green with orange stipe for the left side and orange with light blue stripe for the right, brown with brown black to black, easy. Now on your body harness you will have a dark green wire left, you will not be using this wire anymore, so tape it off or cut it, it doesnt matter. The leftover dark green wire actually is spliced from the 3rd brake light for use on the cobra only.
At this point your left and right blinkers, hazards, etc. will work with the exception of your brake lights. Now lets get the brake lights working by pulling off the drivers side kick panel. Under the panel you will see 3 plugs just under the hood cable/handle. You will be working on the two square plugs, c331 and c332.
You will not have any brake lights at this time and this is due to the cobra harness using a splice from the 3rd brake light (darkgreen wire) to power them. Youll need to add a jumper from pin number 15 on c331to pin number 12 on c332. Both pin number 15 from c331 and pin number 12 from 332 are dark green, exact same color as the left over wire from your body harness in the trunk (its actually the same wire, it is labled as wire number 569). This jumper will replace the function of the original splice in the trunk from the 3rd brake light that you are no longer using. When your finished your brake lights and blinkers will work as they should.
