I have a couple questions I wasn't able to find an answer for by searching alone.

1. Is the T56 transmission mount and crossmember the same as other cobras or 99-04 GTs?

2. What options for polyurethane replacement. I want to replace the crossmember as well.

Thanks for any input!

So since I have been stuck in an airport for the last three hours, I decided to do some searching.

First thing, there are no standard aftermarket replacements. Anything not factory requires unknown custom fabrication.

I have basically been relegated to going with a factory replacement. This is fine, just not happy with 260$ plus tax, but oh well. However, even that was hard to find. So now that I found it, I figured I would put it here. The number is 6068. The description of the part is what causes the problem. Ford lists it as "Engine Rear Support Insulator". WTF? It doesn't touch the motor. Here is a link to Ford's site for the part;Buy 2003 Ford Mustang Parts | FordParts.com

Hopefully this helps folks in the future. At the age our cars are, the original rubber mounts are all dry rotting out. The rubber in my mount was completely gone.

So the cobra one is $230 more compared to all the others, yet they're all the same part number, and look the same in the picture. That mean we could just use a GT mount?

I thought the same thing, but I wasn't willing to waste any more time or money. I am picking up mine tomorrow. I will try to get pictures and measurements so that if someone has a non-terminator one, we can compare. This has a been a frustrating experience, so if we can determine if they are the same or different, then maybe someone else can have a much easier time.

According to the ford racing site that part is no longer available. Maybe that's a reason for the increase in price? none the less though ill be calling ford and asking

I would like to see this in hand to compare..

I have my oem in hand..nowhere on this thing is it labeled ford or a number..

Anchor mounts are sold at most auto parts stores as dea mounts..

They all look the same..even search showed the same mount for standard..6 and 8 cyl

I would also like to see

I called my ford dealer yesterday and first they said that the m-5059-b isn't a part number (even though its clearly listed in the ford racing catalog), then they found the crossmember/mount assy, for $306. So I told them to get lost. I think I may get that anchor
Mount and match it up. If it doesn't work, ill simply return it and go another route.

I also look at all the other makes that came with t56.to see what they use thinking if theirs could be put onto our crossmember..

Ours is cheap looking..but so easy to change.
