I'm planning on having the stage 7 port done this month, I'll have the supporting mods along with a cold air intake, accufab SB throttle body, 2.76 upper, 2lb lower, stock manifolds, off road x pipe and a borla stinger catback, what kind of numbers should I expect?

The same as 5 and 6. Find a used 3 or 4 case or Posi, put your guts in it, sell your OE case and save a ton of money over something that isn't as good as advertised.

Stage 5,6,7.waste of money.had stage 4 and swapped it out for a stage 6.gained 7rwhp 2rwtq.and i think it was because the 2nd time i took it to get it dynoed,it was 13 degrees cooler than the last time.get yourself a posi port.steg is a great guy.but he tries to make the eaton do something it simply isnt capable of.

Save your money and go twin screw. The money you'd be spending on a port you can almost buy a low mild used whipple

I made the mistake of doing it twice, I did a POSI, which I absolutely loved, but I quickly wanted more power so I ended up spending almost double after all said and done

I was right there. I had my stock blower off and my Ported Stieg Stage 4 on the work bench. I got nervous that it wouldn't be enough for me so I bought a used whipple off of here. The cost difference wasn't much about $1500, and when you figure most people would waste $400+ on an extra dyno tune for the ported blower then want to upgrade again its better to just save for a blower swap to begin with.

I don't enough money to do a twin screw at the moment, I just want to have some good power going into mustang week, and a port will be the most realistic way for me in the short term, in the long run I'll eventually go twin screw, also I think it'll be more fun to gradually gain hp rather than just jumping straight into the 600s, anyways I just found this in the for sale sections, seems like a good deal and would be easier to buy a used ported blow rather than taking mine off, shipping it, waiting etc. The seller isn't sure who the port is by, but it looks like good work and is low mileage, here's the link, let me know who you guys think did the work/if it looks good http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...aust-manifolds-wheels-intake-diablo-hand-held

You need the same supporting mods for a ported blower as you do for Twin Screw/TVS so the only cost difference is the supercharger itself. Just be warned it more than likely wont be enough. I think this thread is a good example.

Alan went from a Ported blower with stockish pulley, to pullied and ported to being on E85 in no time and now said he wants more.
