I've enjoyed working with Derek getting to this point. Nothing would make me happier than to see a customer follow my direction and exceed my current record.

With that said, Derek is going to finally relinquish the keys and let me make a pass in his car. It's the least he can do! LOL

I can't wait to see what it's got.
After I have stretched it's legs at least once.
Van can take it for a pass.
I have always wanted to see what It could do with a veteran operator.

I have 30+ passes down that Beeville track, and on occasion have been able to hit some home runs on the last pitch.

Now that this is my 5th event, it's time to see who is faster. Me or Van?
Van has not only helped to make the car faster but he has coached it's driver to higher speeds.

Everyone knows that Van is a professional driver. This event our pit area will be filled with built motor GT500's and
I think Van will show us just how much he can put down on the big end.

This will be an event you don't want to miss.

Derek you do all the stretching you need to on that new motor and set up! She's going to run strong and like a scalded dog.

It's been a great few years watching your progress at the mile. Above all I value your friendship and camaraderie as a fellow driver.

It takes a certain mind set and you've got all of the skill capable of taking your car well past 200+ MPH and I'll be there pulling for you the whole way.

Depending on how things shake out at the mile I'd be honored to make a pass in your car.

Between you, Toby and Lee's cars I could have my hands full. But we're not talking about Lee's car. Not yet anyway.
