Best bang for your buck : power mods

Hi, I'm looking to spend about 2000 on parts but I'm not sure what is the best route to go. I'm not looking to go to the track yet, just some more fun on the streets. Any ideas?

Kooks shorty or long tubes with o/r/h/x pipe, ditch cats, and a real tune like aed/rev auto/mike rousch. Double or single adjustable shocks to better utilize the power. Maybe control arms, upper/lower, but definitely upper. Should put you solidly 400+ wheel. Have fun!

Best power gains come from an off road mid pipe and a tune.

Autos benefit the most from a converter.

I think an off road midpipe and good tune is money well spent. I enjoy mine every time I drive it. With Pype bombs though, I suspect it's gonna be LOUD!!! Here's another thought...2 grand would buy a nice set of wheels and tires. Looks like you need an adjustable Panhard bar as well. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the great info? I have rims and tires already. 18x9 18x10 black chrome bullit and 275/40/18 255/45/18 sumitomo's htr z.
Im in NY so I need the cats.. I was definitely thinking about the kooks shortys and a catted x pipe. The only thing I don't like about the pype bombs is the bad drone at 2k. Will that drone go away at all with the shorty and x pipe?
I was also thinking about the cobra jet intake manifold as a possibility.

Headers aint going to give you the HP gains of Nitrous!

Auto? Definitely a converter and a good tune from AED, Mike Rousch, or Lund.

Do I need another Tuner for the lund tune? I have the bama sct tuner now.
Can I benefit from a catted x pipe or catted h pipe with the lund tune? I live in ny and rather not have to change parts at inspection time. What do you think the gains would be?..and thank you

best option, headers with offroad > offroad x or h > headers with catted

and of course with our lund tune
