New shoes on the Cobra

Finally got some new wheels/tires on the Cobra and I am so glad I made the choice to go for the gold. Yes, they're the dreaded/cheap XXR 531 lol.

18x9.5 +20 up front with Mickey Thompson Street Comp 275/35/18
18x11 +20 rear with BFG DRs 295/35/18

Looks good! I thought about the gold when I did mine (reminded me of my GTA, maroon with gold wheels), but I went safe with the painted silver. I think the gold would have worked though.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to get some of the ambers. Other than that, I plan on doing the carbon lip once Carbon Driven releases them this year (hopefully soon), and then some TF hood vents...exterior should be done after that.

No side shots FTL. Wheels look decent, but not a huge fan of gold on silver.

What the hell is the infatuation with 99-01 tails with the amber in them? Every other car wants to get rid of the amber in their taillights and have just red, but for some reason Cobra guys want to put amber back in?? I hate the look.

Side shots will come once the sun comes back out and my wife can take some photos As far as the ambers go...I had no desire for them until I put on these wheels, but I do feel they'll tie things together well now.

people want what they dont have. like how everyone wants a ford from europe or australia and they want mustangs lol.

i do like the amber tails though. its a nice mod. looks good both ways.
