pics are to big and I don't know how to re size.....

boss intake is 9.75 inches tall, so is the cj intake
boss intake is 21.5 long the cj is 22.5 long.... the extra inch is on back passenger side of intake and there is a cut in the firewall right where the intake bulge is, almost like it was made to fit a cj intake.

I will know in a couple weeks, but I believe using upr engine mounts on lowest setting and removing headliner and we are good

that is weird that you got the same height measurement as the boss because with the 11-14, with a boss manifold, you can run the boss strut tower bar, but when you swap to a cj manifold, you would need spacers or motor mounts to fit the boss strut tower bar...

The reason you need spacers for the cj intake is because the boss intake is cut and grooved where the strut bar goes across. if you give me a number to text I can send you pics that will help show you what im talking about

Did you go ahead and order the CJ manifold?? I want to run the Boss manifold but don't have specifics on it other than just dropping the motor 1/2"-3/4". And if the cmcv deletes are in the stock 2015 manifold the nI wonder if that will mess anything else up?

Yes I ordered the cj . Motor mounts arrived today. Stop worrying about the parts in the manifold. You just need to tune the car just like any other year coyote engine. Go order your boss intake! :)

replace it with the one that comes on the 20" wheel package cars.... but to be truthfull you don't need a strut tower bar unless its heavily road coursed and then its marginal..... I have a 4 second drag car and don't have one on it.

To check that theory unbolt one side of the brace and slap a Gopro under the hood, I bet it flexes more then Ronnie Coleman.

I check that theory every weekend with my 2000 hp outlaw drag radial car. tested it with my 99 that went low 5s and tested with my 02 cobra

look at the drag strip and you will see no REAL drag cars with strut tower bars...... again, unless its a road course car it isn't worth any performance gains

Ford has tested the theory over and over as well since the cobrajet cars don't have strut tower bars either....

This is almost too stupid to respond too, but here it goes.......

Your 4 sec drag car doesn't need a strut tower brace because it has a full 25.5 cage.

A unibody car with no cage will benefit a lot from one.

What's your real name mr 4.00 8th mile man?

Bullshit is easy to check,

One side, you actually have a odr car, cool! Bada$$, but your too dumb to see the difference in a 25.5 car and a 10sec no cage, no frame connector car??????

2nd side. You don't have a 4sec car and your talking out your @$$

Either way I'm fine. But damn.

The cj's have bars in them.

At first team z now Watson, and I'll say neither tested strut tower bars at all. Knowing Dave personally and knowing a bunch of guys at Watson, including their head tuner Kim

under hood.jpgI posted 3 different cars I owned not just the odr car.... I don't class race, I grudge race but my name is in the title..... here is also my forsale ad in racing junk under same name for said odr car http://www.racingjunk.com/Complete-Race-Cars/182500497/91-Back-Half-Mustang-Notch-Roller.html

again, go to the drag strip and look under the hoods of any real race car and nobody runs strut bars other than people that have been tricked into wasting their money..... now for a road course that's another story like I said before

but my odr car has no bars throught the fire wall other that two that weld to the back of the shock tower. can post pics of that as well
