Im thinking of going with 305/45 18 NT05R's they are 28.7 tall im running out of gear with these tires and the tires I had on before rubbed my fender they were hoosiers 325/45 18 I dont know why tire companies even put numbers on them if they arnt going to be close in sizes it seems the only company out there that runs what the number is , M/T my 325/40 18 M&H are more like a 285 and they are only 27.5 tall..

Your converter is holding you back big time. I run a v3 with a 4c and cut 1.50 60ft all day. I run 28" tires, 3.15 gears and am also lund tuned.

With a 3.33 pulley you should be making good power. I wonder if you are having some belt slip issues?

I think you would benefit from a set of springs, possibly some drag style shocks. That 1.9 is killing you. Drop that to a 1.6-1.7 and you're easily in the 10's. Oh, and a converter would work wonders!
Edit: springs probably make more of a difference for mt cars that wheel hop.

With a converter you will be able to take roughly 8 tenths out of that time. So 10.4-10.5 at around 130 is what it will look like.

Oh it's on a wastegate, not the straight 3.3? That makes more sense. I'm guessing you have the tq booster on the 10 psi spring?

v3 comes on sooner and has better output down low than a Paxton.

it has the 13lbs spring in it I dont have a boost gauge so I dont know exact psi..

there is no way you are getting 13 psi. If you were, youd be trapping well over 135 probably close to 140.

Your belt is slipping.

Why dont you have a boost gauge?

it was hitting the rev limiter before the stripe.. I just dont like a lot of gauges I know its not 13lbs of boost but that is the spring that is in it and you can hear the gate open. I might just buy a mechanical boost gauge and put it in the cup holder.. Thanks Scott yea last night was nice im probably going up tomorrow as well is their anyone around us that sells Torco fuel additive? Greg @ Lund racing said it was pulling a little bit of timing out and adding a booster should help..

What gear are you running? I'm running a 3.55 and with the same tire trapping 7000 @ 140mph... Are you sure it's the rev limiter & not trying to shift early.

Not sure on the additive. You can buy race gas at Milan. Add 2 gal of 110 to a 1/2 tank of 93. You'll be fine. It won't hurt your O2's I've done it many times before I went E85.

Are you manually shifting all the gears, or just pulling out of "D" once in 3rd? Let the tune shift it at 7400. What happened if you trap in 4th? There's not a big rpm drop on the 3 to 4, it will recover somewhere around 5300rpm.

Be glad your not getting the full 13 pounds of boost. The stock motor wouldn't last long IMO. Seems you have 2 issues. 1. fuel quality, if its pulling timing that is costing you mph and could be unsafe, 2. Boost leak/belt slip. You aren't getting anywhere near 13lbs of boost.

I'd fix the belt/boost issue and put the 10psi spring in the wastegate. Throw some torco/race gas mixed with 93 in it for track runs. I bet you see 130 traps with that setup and it should last a lot longer.
