That is awesome. Especially when the gates for the train go up and the car drives through the intersection. That seriously rivals the Top Gear Hilux stuff.

Volvo 850 Crash Test (Home Edition)

I think this is the most fun you could ever have with a Volvo.

Hmmm I searched for "Volvo" under this forum before I posted and nothing showed up. This thread is still the only one that pops up.

I know how a Volvo can last so long.

They don't run.

I am still trouble shooting a dying while driving problem in a neighbor's 1995 Volvo 940 turbo wagon. :read:

Hmm, here is something I found

Customer Concern: The engine stalls out intermittently at lower RPMs. Tech found a P0455 (EFI-611) stored. Could these be related?

1. The Canister Purge valve, located on the rear of the cooling fan, can stick closed and not open, causing the evap system leak.

2. The Canister Purge valve can stick open and cause a rough idle or stalling coming down to idle.

3. To diagnose, block off the vacuum line going to the purge valve and drive the vehicle. If the symptom is now gone, replace the Canister Purge Valve.

4. If problem still occurs, there are 2 separate faults in the vehicle.

That is probably one of the funniest car videos I have ever seen! I knew they were safe cars but this just brought it to a whole new level.

That was awesome! I was really questioning how it was still running after about half the video.

I've been trying to kill my Volvo 90 240 B230 since 1997. I added a turbo to it and since then I've pushed 25lbs of boost through the stock NA block. I now decided to get my 18.6 second Volvo into the 13s or even 12s realizing its even a possibly. Even for a 20 plus year old car it's the most solid car I've ever driven.
