Well it was a great and fun year watched this car go from a 12.8 stock to NPB of a 11.0@130. But that same weekend the motor went was out having fun on deceleration I hurd clatter and it got worse had it trailered home from a friend going to dig into it here pretty soon looking at either buying a aluminator short block or reputable builder if the heads are still good fingers crossed... any suggestions or tips id be thankful!!!#

i would only go with an Aluminator.. unless the motor you have isn't totalled, in which case i'd build it..

That's Sucks Bro :/

Let the car sit until you have the money for motor, fuel system, & torque converter...

130 trap should be around 625ish

Thanks guys.. never put the car on the rollers but it had a hell of a year a few cruises a bunch of street runs a a few hand full track runs all in all I put a little over 20,000 miles on her 10,000 were with the higher boost.. I didnt do the OPG's and ran it 5 times right in a row when it let go.. Unfortunate but thats the price we pay when this is our hobby time to build and go faster...

I thought you just supercharged it recently? Seems like this one didn't last very long.

You thinking OPGs?

I need to install oil psi gauge with a warning light for when mine fail. :/

I'm in the same boat right now. The car is running really hard but I know the end is near. When it blows i'm going to make a long winded post trashing ford, my tuner, and my local shop j/k

Trans worked great.. I had no gauges in my car so actual boost I dont know 3.3 pully waste gated at 13 lbs pump gas 93 oct.. car was a blast I put the supercharger on at the beginning of the year was on stock pully for a short time went to the waist gate set up then moved up from there... My tunner was great and Im not going to bash anyone I pushed it, It popped I plan on working with the same people I have been and come out stronger!! For those trying to push it if your not ready to buy a motor back it off a little and be happy... Im a ways off from having all the coin for a fuel system converter and motor but like Scott said it will be all getting done before it goes back in..... Thanks again to everyone that made a great summer!!!

Dam Derrick, I didn't realize you were pushing that much boost on a stock shortblock! On 93 to boot!

I have been seeing a few as of recent motors failing and im not bashing just questioning I see LUND tuning getting some bad post's I mean I didnt even think the tune was off because ive herd nothing but good about LUND being one of the top guys.. Anybody else who was tuning the car when the motor failed.? As of now I plan on staying loyal to LUND and they will be tuning the next motor.. Thanks

13psi on 93, 5 back to back pulls, tells me no cool down. Temps play a big factor.. You gambled and loss lol. Def not the tuners fault.. Do E85 next time

Dam sorry to hear about the motor. If your going to run 93oct on that much boost/power you should at least run meth. Here's to a speedy recovery.
