*update after 2 good cruises I can officially say IMO all the positive reviews are true! This shifter is badass! 2nd to 3rd is a breeze and feels so much smoother!

Not sure if I missed it but can anyone tell me the size of the bolts used for the install of the orange handle mgw shifter? I bought a slightly used orange handle shifter and the seller did not include the 4 mounting bolts.

Which handle do you guys recommend? The comfort or standard? I'm placing my order within a week or so

In my opinion, with as much adjustment these handles/shifters have, it really doesn't matter. I bought the standard and love it.

Does anybody know how to see or where to find the pictures that were originally posted on this thread. All I get are broken picture symbols.

They have probably been deleted. Is there something particular you're looking for? I took a few pics when I did the instal. Mgw also had a good YouTube vid that walks you through it if that's what you're looking for

To anyone that has changed from one short throw to the MGW, have you noticed any improvement in shift quality? I have a Tri-Ax in mine right now and while it's not bad, I think it could be better.

In as much that the MGW Shifter is a quality piece that delivers crisp, precise shifts, by relieving some of the tension on the detent mechanism, any shifter will feel much better.

Finally got one in, wow what a difference.

I got a second set of set screws, anyone know what those are for? They are huge too.

They might be the stops. I think mine came with the stops installed, but I removed them when I installed it.

Has anyone gone from the old straight handle to the new comfort handle? I'm curious how much it helps with reach.
