It sold at Monterrey for $24K.

The screen shot I see says sold $49,500
No, you see a screen that says "this listing has ended", and lists the seller ID

Car is still for sale, and will be for years to come at it's current asking price.

24k seems cheap, way cheap.
I'd be the last guy to offer to sale at a record low number. I can wait for the market to come to me.
I worked at Dearborn Assembly Plant and was part of the 2000 R and many other special build Mustang projects. I installed many of the parts on #300 and also followed it through the system taking many pictures through the various build stages. SVT had assembled quite a team to accomplish this build.
got any pictures or cool stories to share?
I would also love to hear details.

I was a Product Specialist at the Dearborn Assembly Plant and was involved from start to finish on this program. With the original prototypes we had to help in the design to get this vehicle through many of the plant obstacles such as ride heights, oil pan clearances adapting the engine/trans to existing tooling. We assisted daily during the assembly process and installed many of the parts online. Many of us have the battle scars to prove it. This final unit I followed through the plant and took many photos of the assembly processes and the proud people that performed them. All these years I've held on to the memorabilia of the build. Even my original binder of illustration sheets and build notes. Needless to say it was an enjoyable experience.

That's quite a story. It sure would be neat if you were able to someday buy #300. You've got some awesome paperwork to go with it, increasing its value.
