I was just peeking underneath my vehicle today and noticed that the vehicle might have sub-frame connectors already on it? If so, any idea what brand/type?

Yeah you do but they are shitty ones... look like mach bolt-ins
yes they are from the factory on convertible cars. I have heard like stated above that mach 1 came with them also. they are still better then not having anything probably though.
Oh interesting! I never knew the convertible's came with them from the factory. I've spoke with a few people and they recommend getting the FLSFC with a matrix system? I believe made by FTB?
Either maximum motorsports or stifflers full length subframe connectors are a great choice. They are both weld in units which is the essential part, as well as both being high strength/high quality units.
I would say to go with the stifflers units as they also have a matrix design that combines with their full length subframe connectors (or can be fabricated to fit with maximum motorsports units).
These cross webbed matrix style additions widen the subframe connector from the 2" beam to about 16" wide, and have 30 and 90 degree cross webbing connecting the inner and outer subframe connectors. One connector will sit where your current connectors are, the second will sit just aside your pinch welds. The cross webbing will connect the 2. It's very robust, and does not negatively effect ground clearance.
Sorry for the complicated explanation, but a simple Google search of "stifflers matrix subframe connectors" can show you what this system is.
I currently have MM's and will be adding the stickers cross matrix components to them.

Definitely go with the stifflers FIT system. That's what I run on my vert. Very robust and strengthens the fame. Plus the addition of the jacking rail is nice.

Get weldins for sure. I went with a steeda set on my Mach 1 and there is definitely a difference in the car. The steeda set is the same as the MM set in thickness etc but comes with an extra plate that welds to the lower boxes. The ford bolt on set is very flimsy metal. Reminds me of that flimsy aluminum railing your grandma had on her porch steps.

Depends on your intentions and I agree with the above, go with Stifflers setup. CHE Performance has a great rear shock tower brace. Although there may be some disagreement, if you have a coil over setup, this brace is an absolute must have.
For the front I went with a MM brace. Only on that would fit with my Whipple. When I talked with Brian from stifflers at mustang week he told me they were working on a brace that would work with KB and Whipple's. I don't know if that has come to fruition yet.
For the rear if you aren't doing a coil over set up I wouldn't waste your time. If going coilover I would find the beefiest one available. I've read good things about che and Kenny brown
