As the title states, new wheels and tires put on the other day.

18x10 XXR 521 (F/R)
- 275/35/18 Toyo Proxes 4
- 305/35/18 Toyo R888

I think they look great but the suspension is definately 4x4ish. Anyone with a vert have suggestions on springs?

H&r race for a slight drop
H&r sport for a bigger drop
I run sports with no isos for the most drop. Just depends on what you are looking for.

The ride is stiff but not bad in my opinion. If you dont already have subframe connectors I would recommend them with the race springs. They are stiff for a convertible, I still haven't gotten around to them yet.

Ok, thanks! Most likely will try Race.

When I bought my car it had H&R race with no isos.

I like the stance better with isolators. Thanks for posting!

If it doesn't have subframe connectors that should be the first thing done

Yeah, the fit and spider brace system is on my list.

If you're looking for a decent drop with stock comfort, the H&R sports are definitely the way to go. I've personally ran the sports on a 03/04 vert and its extremely comfortable with the stock bilsteins and still gives you room to grow ( sway bars, stiffer struts/shocks )

Here's a link to the springs: http://www.sinistermustang.com/mm-51659.html

Let me know if you have any questions,

Thanks,

I'm running the exact same set up as you (different brand tires)

I have H&R sports up front and Eiabach pros in the rear. No issues with rubbing. I do have a SRA swap though. I have all isos in place.

The ride still looks a tad bit to high for my liking. My next mod will be coilovers to get the desired ride height.

I have mm full length subframes. Ride isn't rough at all. My only complaint is that car sits almost level. Would love a more raked look

I run H&R race springs, Bruce's IRS kit, MM subframes and caster camber plates. No complaints here. Rides nice! One day I might updgrade to a coilover kit from MM, but the race springs have been great over the last 10 + years.

Those new wheels look great op. Do you know the backspacing/offset? They are 18 x 10s all around is that right? I like the deep dish look of the polished lip
