I've got a 2011 gt with about 55k on it. It's got all kinds of clanging coming from rear sway bar links and front lower control arms, looks like it's only the big bushings in the back of the fronts. I have been looking at getting a complete bushing set and just swaping them all out, but all I see is people just getting the entire lower control arms swapped, am I missing something or are people just not trying to swap bushings?

Most people don't swap bushings because it's a huge pain in the butt. With how inexpensive LCAs are, and how flimsy the factory stampings are, it's just not really worth the time, headache, and hassle to swap out rubber bushings for poly. A total bushings kit will cost around $150, then you have to spend hours drilling and cleaning up the old bushing holes. For comparison, you can pick up a set of BMR poly LCAs for $89.95 that can be swapped in about 30-40 minutes, have boxed tubing instead of stamped steel, and feature greaseable bushings that will remain squeak free.

For the lowers I'm talking about the front lowers

Gotcha, my mistake. It's an even bigger pain in the butt to swap out the front LCA bushings. Lots of fire, swearing, and frustration. It's much easier to just swap arms, vs spending the time struggling to remove big rear bushing. If you have a lot of patience and a free afternoon, you can make it happen.
