Anyone tried these? Traction? Currently been running Nitto 555r on svtpp wheels. The price is much better than the Nittos....

I currently run the 305/35R20 Mickey Thompson SS tires, they are a huge improvement over the Nittos. But they're pretty damn expensive.

i just put these on 3 weeks ago on some 20x10 sve series 3 wheels and its a good value for money. Not the greatest tire in the world but in no way a dissapointment. Also running 275/35 up front

What mods do you have and how is the traction? Thanks

no power adders

bmr lca, uca with mount, welded tubes, gen 2 shifter, jlt res delete tube

obviously no traction in first but 50 roll second gear full throttle slight chirp then grip
shift to third still grips in 70 deg weather

I have them on my car. It is a down-grade from the Nittos unless your in rain. It's a good tire, don't get me wrong, but my next tire will be the MPSS.

I'm running the kissing cousin of the MT street comps...Cooper RS3's on my GTO. Absolutely no traction from a dead or slow roll that kicks into 1st(A4). Also on the 1/2 shift it gets out of control. This car put 335 to the ground. For DD'ing I'd recommend the 555r. Has always been a good all around tire, with no issues in rain if they have usuable tread. I'm running the MT2 on 18" wheels for drag racing and they do good driving to and from the track. Got caught in rain once with them and it was a little squirely.

So - --how would you rate them against the Good years? How would the nittos compare? MPSS?

If GY were 3 out of 10 stars -- Traction is not great even when warm -- tires are 1000% worthless in cold weather.

I will be buying new tires next year.

Continental DW, Michelin PS/PSS, and nitto invo are junk when it comes to traction. Nitto 555r are OK when you warm them up where toyo r888 are good most of the time. I'm trying Mickey Thompson et Street SS next

I think they are, they would hook or at least half hook first with absolutely no burnout's. I ran them past the wear marks and they still gripped pretty decently. They also grip substantially better in canyons than the mpss

How's the road noise? Someone gave a review and said it sounded like his hub bearing went out, the R888s made so much noise. He said only use them for road racing, not daily driving.
