Got my '12 SVTPP with 35k for $35k
Got my '12 SVTPP with 35k for $35k
For reference, I just sold a super clean 16,000 mile White SVTPP '12 with Nav in SoCal for 40K and was glad to get that. I purchased a super clean '13 loaded with everything except glass roof with 7700 miles in Phoenix for 53.5K. This was in March.^ geography, color, and packaging will have a lot to do with pricing.
That being said. Finding a 13 for $45k will be a base car with 35-45k miles. Maybe. Those cars just havnt really fallen out of the 50s yet
11s still and 12s still selling at the auction in the 40s more often than not
Anyone with any other updates? I'm still looking. But, as a buyer, it's frustrating with the prices all over the map! There are 12's ranging from the mid $30's to the high $40's with decent low miles (say under 20k miles). We are talking a $10k swing!! Even at CarMax (they have a ton of 12's), their "low pricing", one price deal is the same---huge swings in prices for comparable cars. The other thing that is frustrating is the number of dealers that won't "deal". So, if you don't want to pay their current price, you have to wait until it doesn't sell and they decide to lower the price. I'm trying to deal with a place now that has had the car for 5 months and still won't negotiate! If I was the GM of a dealership and had $40k sitting for 5 months, I'd be doing some dealing to get rid of that cash hog and get some other cars that can make me some money, even if I lost some money on the deal! But, what do I know.....
Pricing is all over the place. My friend just bought a 12 w 2k miles, svtpp, glass roof, recaros, nav- for $41k
Red silver and black tend to be cheaper. White blue, grabber tend to be higher. Recaros pull a premium because they're awesome.
I paid $38k + tax for an 11 w 19k on it svtpp in red last June.
Honestly- here is what you should be paying
12 non recaro non svtpp, under 15k - $38k-40k
12 recaro and svtpp, under 15k 40-43k
11 svtpp under 15k $38-40k
11 non svtpp under 15k $37-39k
10- no more than $35k
