So you Cobra gurus probably know that 2003 SVT Cobra production started on May 8th, 2002. I just found that out today thanks to Cobra Bob's FAQ. The car I just bought is #48, built on May 14, 2002.

Anybody recall a thread talking about how many of the earliest cars are still on the road? My friend swears he saw one here some time ago. No big deal if no one recalls.

Mine was close to last .............. well sort of (born on 1/16/04 production stopped on 4/1). Then again production was only 1/3rd of what they made in 03 and they were sitting on the dealers lot. I wonder who's got the youngest Terminator around here other then that Ford Employee?

That was a sad day when they closed the Rough River (DAP) plant :nonono:

I have to tell you that I owned a 2007 GT500 for 3 years. I'm way more interested in the Terminator's story. These are amazing cars and I'm very happy with mine... even if I am 13 years late to the game.

I have one of the five 1PP engines, I only wish I could find the actual torch red vert car to put it back into! Probably went to the crusher :/

You should buy Frank Moriarty's book then if you want to catch up.

There is a link to it here (along with just about everything else you'd want to know about the car):

I actually bought his book as a digital download a few years ago and have since lost it. I hear there is a revised hardcover with more pictures. I plan to tell my wife I want that book for my birthday in a few weeks.

I have both the paperback then bought the hardback when it came out. The hardback with the pics and color is so worth it.
