Braum Racing Seats

Never heard of them til you mentioned them. I can't find much either but they are way more affordable than the corbeaus! Are you ok with losing your airbags in your seats? That's the only thing keeping me from swapping them out as of now.....
I have a friend who got them. They look nice and he likes them. I'd say if its for looks go for it. If it's for actual racing I'd stick to one of the better known tried and tested brands like Sparco.
And yeah you lose your side airbags so keep that in mind.

I'm aware of the airbags and it doesn't bother me.
They're more of a "combo" seat in my eyes. Looking for something that's still comfortable enough for a decent length drive, but also cuts a ton of weight at the track. Guess I'll keep researching.

For weight cutting I'm sure they work fine (not sure what they weigh exactly). For crash safety I'd be skeptical
Looking for some reviews on comfort and whatnot from people that actually own them or have sat in them. I'm well aware of the issues of losing the side airbag. Thanks for the input.

Hey everybody . . . I found this thread while looking for reviews on the BRAUM's Racing Car Seats. I couldn't find many reviews about it, so I decided to take the plunge and ordered a set. I ordered the Elite-X Series w/ White Stitching.
I ordered the required seat brackets and hardware kit from amazon. I already received the seats; I am just waiting for the brackets to be delivered.
I am planning on installing them the week after Xmas (time off).
Out of the box the seats are very nice . . . and light. ( I believe they weight 25 lbs w/o the sliders - Double locking sliders are included ).
I am going to weight the sliders, and the brackets individually and post the numbers later on.
I bought them because I was planning to re-upholster my worn out leather seats or replace them with a well known car seats brand. Both options would have cost me close to 2 grand . . . I found these seats and I only spent $1,035.00 Including Brackets, hardware kit, and CA taxes.
I could not find any information about safety ratings on these seats. (Their Harnesses are SFI and FIA Approved). I hope they are well built to withstand a traffic collision. ( I don't race and the car is only driven < 3,000 mi / yr ).
I will try to do an update about fitment and comfort after I have installed the seats.
I realize that this thread is 4 over 4 months old and probably forgotten. I hope my post helps someone decide whether to buy these seats.
