Ran a 2015 Mustang 5.0 from a dig this weekend. He had a clean ride; Deep impact blue, had black wheels and blacked out 5.0 lettering, mods unknown if any. My car is 2013 BMW 550i with a JB stage 1 tune only. We ran from a dig, Sport+ mode I brake boosted at the stop light, light goes green and he's no match for me out the whole as I put about 2-3 cars on him to about 130mph. If the guy is on these forums, good run man!

I also ran a white 2011-2014 model Mustang 5.0 from a 20-80mph roll and I had a fender on him until we shut down due to traffic.

Stock supposedly dynos 390rwhp and the stage 1 tune adds 2-3 psi of boost for 420-430rwhp. Im going JB4 BETA next which bumps boost from 10psi to 20psi, 510-520+rwhp, 11s @ 120+

Never dyno/tracked but others have been averaging 12.3-12.4 @ 112-114mph on the N63 Stage 1 tune on the "I" models.

I have a 2011 550i RWD stock and have pulled a couple stock appearing coyotes. I'm trying so hard not to order up a jb4! I also put a fender on an LS2 Vette from 50 well into the 140's. Unknown mods Termi Vert walked from a roll played catch up from a dig. I did get slowly walked by a new z/28 from a roll and got shit on by a FBO Heads/Cam LS2 4th Gen on bigs and littles. These cars may not seem overly impressive as far as HP but their torque monsters. Stock they seem to be laying down close to 450 ft/lbs to the tires and makes over 400 pretty much from 1800 to redline. It's certainly not my CJ 5.0 but I think with a JB4 and a 65/35 e85/93 mix it would be pretty damn close.

I have to say this car is ultimate sleeper mode Sport+ Mode and Sport shifting is a much much different vehicle than being in regular Auto and Comfort mode. It's almost like driving two different cars entirely plus the ride is so damn smooth an quiet, loaded with tech. It's hard to expect much else out of a vehicle. I can see where people pay mid to upper 70's but I sure as hell didn't!

I must say these newer turbo BMWs are impressive. Jb4 with some e85 blend and they are a total different animal. I give them credit.

the 435i with the new B58 engines are dynoing 450rwhp with just a JB4 and outrunning stock M3/M4s. That same engine is going in the new G30 540i and they are going to be 220lbs lighter.
Interested in seeing what replaces the N63tu motor.

A bolt on tune coyote should be a great run against you. Good kill.
Their TQ line is just soo damn impressive! The N63tu with the JB4 makes over 500wtq at 3500rpm!!!

You mean 440i and I believe it was JB4 with meth. With just a JB4 they’re making around 400whp. Either way, it really is amazing! Reminds me of the older M3 when the 335i was introduced.

Love the 550i BTW, that N63tu is no slouch at all! The newer 550i might be calling me, maybe a year or two from now :D

So, for my own confirmation, 2013 550i's make 400HP at the flywheel, but, dyno 390 RWHP stock?

Bolt-on Coyotes should be hanging with you and even worse once we are talking full bolt-ons + manifold + E85.

correct. 2011-2013s dyno 385-390rwhp, 2014+ are rated at 445hp flywheel, but are dynoing 390-395rwhp

While this is very confusing that the 2014+ Models are losing 10% drivetrain loss and the 2013 model is losing 2-3%, they run low 13's stock. A Stock 5.0 runs quicker with an average driver and traps higher.

Mod for mod, N/A vs. Turbo, Turbo "should" win. But, again, it's a proven platform that a bolt-on 5.0 with a manifold and E85 is a bottom 11 second car @ 120+. Some have gone 10's with weight reduction, slicks/skinnies and mineshaft air N/A with a completely stock motor.

a 2011 550i with a JB4 as the only mod is an 11 second car @ 120+mph

Dude, those are STD numbers, not SAE.........

Low 11's for both cars does not mean 2-3 cars on the 5.0. Driver's race.

my car isnt a low 11 car and the 5.0 was more than likely stock and he couldn't come around me. JB stage 1 N63 550s have been running mid 12s and N63tus are faster, and the XI/Xdrive models on both are even faster in the 1/4 mile. Stock 5.0s are 13 second cars.
what point are you trying to make?

Point I'm trying to make.

You are claiming the car makes close to the flywheel and then post STD numbers which read about 5-7% higher than SAE.

Stock 5.0's run in 13's with shitty drivers, sure.

So, with only a tune, they run low 11's on stock tires, stock intake in Texas heat?

Im still not sure what your argument is, the 5.0 lost. who cares. It was more than likely stock and BMW underrates their cars, ex: the F80 M3/M4 are advertised at 425bhp yet dyno 425-430rwhp.
