So, i'm on my way home last night and i get ricer fly-byed by a hyundai genesis...he shifts and i hear a massive wastegate dump. (ok...aftermarket turbo...noted)He slows down and i blow by him before the road goes back to a single lane. there's traffic and its a 35mph zone but, i know i have a long passing zone coming up. i hit the passing zone, drop into 3rd, change lanes, drop the hammer, peddle her for a second and then proceed to absolutely freight train him! We pull up to a stop light and i tell him "i give ya an a for effort" and he says "bro, that thing is badass" light changes, i go right, he goes left so, i didn't have a chance to ask him about his car. Fun times!

Thats funny. It seems like its always the cars that have no chance that want to run. I'm always getting buzzed or rev'd at by Hyundai's,Scions,Hondas. You freight train them and they look shocked lol. What did think was going to happen.

I do it all the time in my Mustang. I revved at a CTS V. He laughed at me and said "yea right..."

I laughed, he laughed... prick had no idea.

He seemed pretty cool but, i think he legit thought he had a shot. Maybe if he had a real nasty turbo and if i was still stock...lol. Hopefully i'll run into him around town or at a car show, would love to know what he has done to it.

I have had people revved at me only to see them in a stop light grinning and asking me about my car. Some people even in slow cars, they just want to hear your car and/or see it fly. Sometimes it can get annoying but overall dont mind.

I guess in a way, we know how celebrities feel with all the fans :lol:

I have had this happen a ton of times, hey man I don't mind. I do the same thing in my Jeep, I enjoy watching and listening to fast cars get on it.

I've had a number of Genesis coupes 2.0T and 3.8V6 try and run.... You get a few good guys who acknowledge there mistake and then you get the one who proceeds to do the ricer fly by letting off when he passes for me to hear the wastegate.
