I've acquired a limited quantity of these replica plates. These plates are made as exact to original dimensions as possible, and are designed as a direct replacement to the original.

This plate is blank and is not stamped with signatures, beveled, or embossed like the original, however is otherwise identical. The plate is made from a quality brushed aluminum substrate and is slightly thicker than a credit card. It is relatively rigid and will not accidentally bend like the others that have been around in the past.

$20 shipped ea on the remaining plates

Sorry for the poor lighting in this last picture, but rule number 7 for the market requires the handwritten username and date. This image is for compliance with the rule, as the last thread as deleted because it did not include it.

I bought 2 of these and I couldn't be happier. Both the quality and the packaging was impeccable! Exceptional all around! Thanks!

Plate showed up and it looks fantastic. Even side-by-side you really can't tell which is the replica.

I noticed that there is no adhesive on the backside of the plate. What were the factory plates adhered with? I don't want to use two sided tape since that would "space" the plate off the valve cover a bit.

I reccomend using the 3M brand double sided tape, as it is the most secure, and least permanent application method. The original plates had a similar adhesive tape preapplied to the back of the plate. The over the counter 3M molding tape is thicker than some of the tapes that 3M offers. 3M makes a double sided tape that they refer to as "attachment tape" that is about half as thin as their over the counter molding tape, it's the thinnest I have found. The professional role is part number 06377, but I'm not sure if they offer it in a smaller role over the counter?
