Congrats on the ZL1.
I'm still not crazy about the looks, but it's got some great performance. Enjoy.

That is just one Awesome looking car.

Congratulations OP.

From the pictures, it appears interior space / headroom would be limited. Would a taller/larger (6'-5" 285 lbs.) person fit comfortably in the ZL1?

I sat in an SS today at the dealer it was a sunroof car and my head stuck out the sunroof. I had to lay the seat back to an uncomfortable angle to fit properly. I'm a solid 6'2".

what is the scoop on the power output on this car? ZL1 is a straight line car compared to the Z28 that is the road course version?

Biggest difference the z28 has ceramic brakes and DSSV suspension (spool valve) where the zl1 has magnetic ride. Both cars are great, but the zl1 can do all 3 well (track, strip, street). And of coarse 500hp N/A vs 650hp S/C

I always like your LS.... My brother has a new SS and is planning to order a 1LE (he works for GM).
The new Camaro SS is a very well balanced car. I can't imagine how much better the ZL1 is. Congrats, it looks sweet! It's like having a Hellcat at the strip and a GT350 at the track all wrapped up in one car.....

Exactly

Interior space isn't to bad, but 6'-5" that might be pushing it

So,....tell me more please!
If I wanted to go crazy power like 750-800rwhp and 600rwtq,.......can the STOCK internals take it or is there an engine rebuild necessary?
Thanks!

This is Tommys ZL1. He's been running this set up I believe since the car had somewhere around 500 miles. And he runs this car hard. His car sounds amazing!!
Other then a cam, everything else is stock internals.

Yeah, I am familiar with Tommy's car on camaro6.com. Killer car for sure. That torque though,...............NASTY! Vengeance did one as well. Crazy awesome.
So, I assume that the stock internals can take some serious power and torque without crapping out?
Thanks!

There are a few running around with similar setup. So far things seem to be fine. I'm sticking with springs and catback, that's all I can handle now a days

What cat back and springs are you using?
BMR springs?

Can't decide between stainless works or borla atak.
Spring...I'll be going with eibach. They just finished R&D on a zl1 about a month ago with no affect to the MRC.
