Finally some new garage progress

We bought a new to us house back in October and I started working on the garage in January. Plumbing and electrical is 90% done, insulation, sheetrock, and paint is 100%. Tuesday my friend came over we cleaned the floor and today I dyed it. I will probably seal it Sunday then it's onto baseboard, lights, work bench and a mother freaking lift!

That's a really nice amount of space. I bet the insulation you installed will make a huge difference too.
Have you made a lighting plan? I just installed a few of the LED 48" fixtures from Costco. I needed much better light levels over a workbench so I put six fixtures over it and on the wall behind it. Now, no shadows under my head when I am working on something close. Plus no heat from the lights either.

We are in Dallas, off Macland Rd. bought it in October then we sold the Kennesaw house in January. The 1 horse has been gone for a while, the wife had some disc trouble in her back and doctor said no more riding so we gave him away. You still in the house I was at?

Yes we are still there. I really like living there. Its fairly quiet on the cul de sac and they finally finished tearing up my yard with the water main project cutting through the big part of the property. They repaired it nicely and I got a new septic system installed and they connected pipe in the drainage easement and took away that easement gullie.. So the property looks much nicer now.

Sorry about your wife having disc trouble. We always looked to see if the horse was out grazing while you were still there, Beautiful animal.

Good luck with the new house and garage. Hopefully will see you around sometime. Look into a nice lift for your garage.

Just curious as to the dimensions of that garage. It looks huge especially with those 3 jacks supporting the ceiling above it. You can never have enough space

25' wide 32' long 11'6" ceiling.

Sealed the floor Thursday

Sealed the work bench today with the last coat of epoxy. First time using this stuff and now I want to figure out more projects to use it on.

Stuck on some quotes first.

25' X 32' is a really nice size for a garage. You're very fortunate, and you'll really appreciate that space in the future. Nice job on the floor, too.
