My motor has come back from MPR and due to doing a full PCV delete, I'm looking to install a new CAI. I currently have a JLT fender well intake and was looking to what setup folks are running with a Kenne Bell 2.8 and cams.

I considered doing the high boost JLT with the slot style conversion but I guess it puts the wires up against the valve cover. Also, the MAF is a SCT 3000

Thoughts?

I just bought a high boost but won't get a chance to test it out for a while.

Mind if i ask how long MPR had your engine for the rebuild? Took my heads to their shop, was planning on taking my engine to get a few simple things done.

JLT carbon CAI SCT 2600MAF. Love it. Your tuner won't like the CAI. But he will figure it out.

Convert it to HB or buy the HB one. The carbon model looks bad ass but scratches very easy.

If you have a gen 2 cold air then you have a high boost as they run the same tube, the only difference is the maf hole has been drilled on high boost.

You could also get a jlt 110mm maf housing and put that on the end of your tube.

Took them a few months after receiving it. But that was the wait for the pistons to be cut. Highly recommend MPR. They do some nice work!
