You are thinking of the right people. The story goes that they would sell OEM parts from customer cars to fund new builds, and then use cheaper materials when reassembling the original vehicle.

Agreed.

Unfortunately someone will need to buy one from them (which will be pretty difficult given there past) and test it against a demon.

Anything that comes from HPE and numbers will be bullshit. I can't believe they are even still around.

The Centri cars build boost in a more linear fashion but most 4.6 cars making 600-700 with a Centri seem way more violent.

Hennessy's past is well documented, one thing you have to give him credit for is putting out packages for just about every performance car on the market. If and that is a big IF he is on the up and up now, he's really building some cool stuff. With that said I'm not sure I'd pay the price of his stuff....
