Currently going through a turbo build on my 97 Cobra. Since the machine shop is taking forever with the engine, figured I would start a thread on it. Ill start from the beginning...

After owning a fox, new edge, and taking a couple years off, I decided to get into another mustang. Purchased a 43k mile rio red 97 2 years ago and it has been through quite a few changes since.

After owning it for a couple months I decided I wanted more. Installed an aftercooled Vortech V2 blower and did some subtle exterior changes. Car ended up making 492/433 on 93 with 18 degrees timing

Last year it went through some suspension upgrades. Team Z tubular K member, Strange coil overs and some new shoes. Ended up doing a transmission built as well.

I honestly wasn't a huge fan of red when I bought this car but it has really grown on me. She cleans up nice

Great looking car! Always liked the red on these, especially with a black wheel! Keep up the good work!

On3 could not confirm that it would work with a Team Z K member as they have not had any feedback from someone running it. We will find out soon though!
Odd since they sell the Team Z K-Member as an add on through their website. I think they designed the kit around the UPR K-Member

Yes they did mention it was designed around the UPR. They said they didn't see why it wouldn't just could not guarantee. Hopefully i don't have to make any major modifications to it.

Very nice! I've seen the car around town before. I work in Columbus, didn't know it was a vortech car when I saw it. What's your goals for the car and timeline. Be sweet to see when you get it back together!

Thanks man! Yep sure was lol. Actually I think I saw a thread from you last last year about yours getting tuned? Im pretty sure we have somewhat similar builds. I shooting for 8-900 but not sure how feasible that will be. Ill be happy with anything over 700. Blankenship is tuning it in a month.
