goin to work this morning, pulled up alongside a white c7. sounded like it had exhaust work but nothing else. started about 45 as I got even with him. heard the downshift, so I knew he was ready to rock. as I got even with him, he changed his mind when he saw I was a cobra. (saw him look down at the quarter panel emblem) immediately upshifted and got behind me. I heard about the respect carried for these cars but first time Ive seen it in action. not sure if I would have feasted or been eaten.

Mod's: fender CAI, 4 lb lower, 47lb injectors, 91 tune, corsa x pipe, highflow cats, borla stingers. 315 555's in back.

Terminators still get some respect and back when I had one....no one wanted to play. A few cars messed around with me but it was a joke. I thought a 370Z wanted to play once but he quickly stopped. but i'm surprised he still didn't want to play. The C7 non Z is still no slouch.
I'm surprised you don't have a upper pulley and why the 47lber's? I had the stock injectors on a posi port, 2.8 upper, 4lb lower, exhaust and so on.

I honestly think the C7 would have been a good race had it been an automatic (and maybe it was, I don't know). I'm not positive, but they should be very low 12 second cars, maybe high 11s? I don't see much in the way of power mods in your Terminator, minus the 4lb lower, so yeah, I think it would have been good.

yea I'm not sure I would have won to be completely honest. I'm not the best with a six speed yet. this is my first manual! I was just super happy with the reaction I got.

It definitely would have been a good race, and I would have leaned towards the C7. But we'll never know.

Welcome to SVTPerformance, AFterminator. Are you planning any other mods?

I played with a C7 last night.... botched race for sure, he started behind me and was laying into the throttle before he was next to me and by the time I jumped on it he already had momentum. I couldn't catch him.... my 11 makes nearly 440 wheel... would love another go at one.

Never got it from a C7...beat two of them

Couple years ago an SRT charger was next to me in traffic and the dude was yelling "is that a terminator?" at me. Thought a brand new camaro wanted to run the other day but he just gave me a thumbs up. Fine with me. Less chance of a ticket.

Thanks! And yes. Ive already got a six point cage in it, gonna go vmp 18-20lbs. E85 with fuel system, upgrade tranny to t56 magnum. Maybe build the motor if i can break 800. Oh also halfshaft. Heard those were a weakpoint

There is zero chance you'll hit 800rwhp with a stock long block with a tvs at 20lbs. Unless you find the happiest dyno in the country and tell the shop to make it show 800, lol.

I still can't figure out why you have 47lb injectors. Those won't work with any amount of e85.

Not sure about the injectors either tbh were on the car when i got it. And if i went 85 id be doing the whole fuel system of course. New injectors included. Idk really what its gonna take to get that high, just gotta keep playing intil im where i wanna be

On the way down to the dyno shop (75 mile drive) I had a 370Z do a fly by. Don't know what he had done but a decently loud fart can. At first I didn't think anything of it but he did it twice (or tried at least lol) on the 2nd time I downshifted to 3rd and matched him when he tried to go by. Wide open highway. His momentum carried him forward some but I started reeling him in and just kept going b/c I wanted to show him what she had. I think I hit 120 before I let up. He came up beside me after that and I downshifted, looked over and he smiled, shook his head and did the no no cut throat thing and gave thumbs up. I enjoyed it.
