I would like to run Hoosier 28x11.5 - 16 tire on my 16x10 bogarts coming in.
I am on IRS with H&R race springs. Anyone have issues with this?

Hoosier also makes the 28x10-16 but I like that the bigger one is DOT approved.

Thanks for any help.

Yep, I think I am going to just do the 28x10 slicks.
Was hoping to hear from someone but doubtful it would work without some modification. Hopefully the 28x10 works alright.

I run 26x9.5x16's on my car pretty low without issues. My fenders are rolled but there is a ton of room in there. Not sure if a 28 will fit on a really low car. Doesn't look like it to me but maybe.

I used to run a 26x11.5 and those fit nice. Cannot find them in 16's though.

I run a 26/11.5/16, no issues.

I've ran 28's on multiple cars, and its always a project to get them to fit, especially lowered.

Thanks for replies.
I am going to see if I can get a 28x10 to fit, looks like a minimum rolled fenders are needed.
My car is not slammed but if it is too low, I will put the ISO's back in. I think it should work .

What is your power level?

Right now 640whp on the 2.2,
I bought a 2.9 crusher and will put it on. Hopefully be 700-715whp at 20-21 psi
I know with stock gears a 26" might work best but I really like the added sidewall and look of a 28"

I run the Hoosier 28x10-17 and I keep my car pretty low on the coilovers. I also have my fenders rolled. The only place it rubs if I don't raise it a little is when the suspension compresses during the run. It's pretty much just where the bumper and fender meet and there isn't much you can do for that area from what I see other than moving the upper screw that attaches the bumper to a lower position and cutting some of the fender and bumper away. I haven't gotten desperate enough to do that yet so I just raise it a little when I put the slicks on. Before the coilovers I had Intrax 2 inch drop springs with upper only ISO and I just used a couple coil spring spacers inserted in between the coils to raise it a little. Hope that helps.

Thanks for sharing.
Are those 28x10?
I did The test fit and it looks like I have more clearance than you but I'm on 16x10 in wheel
No track runs yet for me but we will see

That is exactly why I went with 26" tires. Any squat and thats going to rub bad on the rear bumper.

If I can find another set of rear spindles to grind and get 15"s on the car, I'd look at the QTP 27" tires. 28" is too big on a lowered car.
