Any updates on guys that have been driving their 6R cars this year?
Would be interested in hearing how the Quick 6/Baumanator deal is working, especially at strip wth TB/2-gear leave.

what are you guys paying for the trans? my buddy just picked one up with a coyote motor for his 67 project but doesnt need the trans. came out of a 2014 with about 45k on it.

Paid 1,400ish for mine. 14 trans with 38k miles on it. Came with transmission, stock converter, and the transmission mount/cross bar.

Looks like they are still in the 1,400-1,600 range on car-part.com

Do the 6r's from the F150 work, or are there differences between the two?
I've seen F150 6r's going for 750-850 on eBay.

The ones I'm looking at are the coyote powered F150's (2 wheel drive).

Case is slightly different. There are no provisions for mounting the shifter cable. You can make one and bolt it to the pan if you are decent at fabrication. I think PBH might even sell it by now. Other wise it will bolt up, No idea of the internals are different. Some say they are some say they are the same.

I just bought a complete swap package to convert my '14. It came with PCM, wiring, driveshaft, shifter, ABS module, flexplate, cooler and lines, crossmember and mount, etc. Parts Farm on ebay has them from time to time, $2999. PBH is very helpful with the swap.

Here is a complete swap for $1999 with everything for an '11-'17 Mustang swap. It would work for earlier years too but you wouldn't need everything it comes with. For anyone currently looking!
