Just curious if anyone is using BG fluid additives in their S197? Or any other brands. What is everyone's take on using additives in the oil, fuel, brake/clutch systems?

The only additive I recommend for gas engines Chevron Techron Fuel System Cleaner. That stuff actually works. It's a different story if we're talking about diesels.

Yeah BG is a brand. BGPROD.COM. A coworker was talking to me about them, but I've never used anything other than oem stuff in my car. I'm a little leery as to if it actually works out not, and if it's safe for my car.

A few of the local mechanics around here swear by that stuff.
