If they'd give this the 2.7EB it would be an interesting replacement for my SHO. Any chance that happens?

I sold my '17 F150 Raptor, I think I'll be trying out this new Ranger Raptor. Hope we don't have to wait all that long for it. I MAY be able to go 1 or 2 more years without a truck but it will be tough.

Ranger for 2019 and raptor for 2020 is what I’m gonna guess. May have to get the regular xtra cab for 2019 then upgrade to the raptor version in the same color. I won’t need to explain to my wife I got another vehicle, I’ll lie and just say I got a lift and some new wheels. The rest she won’t be able to tell haha.

Yes Sir, if that baby comes first, I’ll be grabbing it.
I hope they come at about the same time that way I make an informed decision.

Why all the offroad rally bullshit, I want to see another L from Ford.
Because it sells way better than the Lightning.

The Lightning was a great truck until trucks got too big and heavy. Dodge lost their ass on their srt10 truck. No way even with awd/4wd would a 600hp come close to what sports car run.

And today still the first raptor is selling used with 50k miles for original msrp or close. Can’t get a bigger success or money maker.

But no one uses it for what it is intended.
The L was a street prowler. The Raptor is best for Baja, offroading etc. I'd be surprised if anyone even used it for camping lol.
What good is a fast truck if it just going to rollover on the first right corner?
Bring back the L.

I’d like to have a ranger that isn’t called the raptor, but another name, make it original to the ranger. Doesn’t need awesome off road ability, just make it a nice 4WD capable vehicle, but great on road performance. Sure, maybe not beat sport cars but why not mid 12s or 0-60 in high 4s. I’d snatch that baby up quick. If it’s like it’s predecessor, I’m hoping it has room in those turbos for good gains in tuning. Im hoping to gain 100 hp over stock, which I’m guessing will be in the 350 hp area. At minimum I’d like current raptor power in this 4600 lb ranger.

Like I said there is more market for the raptor than the lightning. And as I said even with 600/700 hp people will still see as slow because there big/heavy.

It's going to be a while.
There is talk of no ranger raptor in the US. That would be a drag, if so.
I suppose, if it is coming it won’t be until MY 2020, which is hopefully by mid next year (2019) that we start seeing them built.

Clearly you need to visit some Raptor specific boards. Many of those Raptors are used offroad. My 2012 Raptor spent plenty of time offroad, as will my 18.

Here's one from this board 'not used for what it was intended'... according to you.
