I'll try to get the best pass loaded up but I went [email protected] with my '14 GT500 last weekend. Slip and slide pass with the stick and a cold track.

This thread is 'technically' for first Gen GT500's 2007-2012. There is a thread in the 2013-2014 GT 500 forum for the Gen II 1/4 mile times. That's not to say this has been monitored or filtered to exclude the Gen II cars from the list. FWIW

Thanks Bruce, I'll check that out.
I'll get some of your sexy rotors to replace the boat anchors.
Almost called you the week before my last outing but last time we talked, the next day I blew the oil pump gears datalogging so I didn't make the call this time. Pretty sure your rotors would have given me that .009 needed for 9s :(

Very nice. It's impressive to succeed with the radial Pros and the street style clutch. What changes did you find helped hook that combo over the ET Drag bias?
Not enough guys running big power and sticks anymore, we must love the challenge.

Going to an Anti roll bar helped quite a bit but seat time to play with shock settings, 2-step RPM, tire pressure and box heat probably helped more than anything else. That was only the 7th pass on this new setup. It should yield a few 8.xxx passes this Spring......Hopefully. You're 100% right about the 6-speed, big power cars. I love the challenge of trying to control this thing and rowing the gears. Can't see that changing.

Just wow! Man so close to that 8s pass!
-J

The heart breaker is, just exactly like 2 weeks ago, I make a PB pass and on the next pass I snap a belt! this pass I didn't power shift.... just like last time so on the 2nd pass I was hammering it a it snapped on the 3-4 power shift....like 2 weeks ago. It was on an 8.xxx pass when it broke according to my 1/8th E.T. too. Got a "Gates RPM" already ordered. The Kevlar belts are proving useless.

Man you have got to be kidding.
I just did the exact same thing...went 10.009 and the next pass with a better 1/8 the belt snapped on the 3/4. Nothing like having it WOT and feeling no boost
I was running the black (previously blue) RPM belts but I was having some belt walk issues.
The only used part on my combo is a ThumpR tensioner, so I biught a new adjustable ARS billet tensioner.
Nothing like motivation for winter mods right?

You know the pain then brother lol. It wouldn't been so bad for me if it hadn't been back to back trips to the drag strip. Yea, got the whole winter to figure out the route I wanna take but it will eat at me till I do something. I'll post if I find something new. Please keep me advised if you do too.
