Hi guys, I just purchased a 2003 10th anniversary vert. The car is completely stock, just wondering what upgrades I can do to get more power. I understand the typical upgrades such as exhaust, tune and cai is best way to start out. Just want to know what the best combinations are. I would like to get a decent tune. What are the better tuners out there for theses cars? Currently looking at running a Mac pro chamber mid pipe paired with jba cat backs- seems to put out a nice sound. Also have been looking at going with a jlt cold air intake. Also what is a good lowering kit for these? Don’t want to get crazy with power just some nice bolt ons to brighten up the car a bit. Also looking for parts to buy so if anyone has any used parts they want to sell I’m definitely interest. Thanks!!

Seems like you are on the right track. Exhaust, CAI and smaller pulley. I would definitely recommend taking it to a dyno and having it professionally tuned. I have Eibach lowering springs and like them. I also put a bump steer on it. I also recommend full sub frame connectors. They will really tighten up your ride.

Intake pulley exhaust and a tune will net you upwards of 450rwhp. Some full length subframe connectors and upgraded IRS bushings will stiffen the car up and help eliminate wheel hop. Also upgrade the factory idlers before they explode...

Since you are new to the car, here's everything there is to know:

www.terminator-cobra.com

You'll also want to download a service manual from the site.

I looked at a crap load of them before I bought my current one, but after a Saturn V liftoff in a friend's '04 around 2005, I didn't have to ask many questions as to what they were and if I would ever want one.

Check out the stickies in this section a lot of great information there. Specifically the “what mods do you regret?” Thread

You may have already browsed through my Terminator FAQs, but if not, you should. A lot of good "base" mods info has already been posted. I will say this. Installed just the smaller upper pulley and tune is going to make your jaw drop. I still remember my first drive in my '03 after the installation of my 2.90" upper, 4-piece idler kit and tune. ;)

i bought mine without driving it or ever riding in one.
I also bought mine without driving it or ever riding in one. Saw one at a new car show and I knew that I would be owning one some day.
I have had my MC coupe for 12 years which now has 12000 miles.Changed the shifter, tires, springs, exhaust, pulley, cold air intake, tune and added the 3M paint protection. Rides nice and is quick enough for me.
