I've posted pics of my fox on here before but I finally got my tail pipes put on and decided to take it out for a spin on my Birthday yesterday. I've had the car since I was 14 and just turned 33, thought I'd share some.

One of the tail pipes is off my about a 1/4 inch (pisses me off) but I just wanted to take the car out and I'll have to take it back so they can correct it at a later date. The guy at the shop said it was the worst set of tail pipes he's ever had to work with. I've not read of anyone else having problems with the Flowmaster 3 inch tails but whatever.

Never seems to get
old looking at an iconic Classic! Nice bro!

Thanks man. I'll be buried in that damn thing. haha

Nice shots

Thank you sir!

Looking at it now I should have polished the tails completely but he put V-bands on the tails over the axle so maybe I can pull them off and polish the rest of it sometime.

Car looks stunning. Sorry you're upset about the tail pipe but you'll fix it.

Thanks man, Yea I will get it fixed. It just irks me quite a bit. LOL

I have a set of those tails but with as low as I am and with the torque arm etc. I don't think I will be getting them to fit.

Car looks great!

Yup, they are close as hell to the torque arm. He had to notch the tails over the axle on the passenger side. I think he said they spent 4 hours on getting them to where they weren't banging around on the frame rails etc.

I love the tails though. I had the American Thunder catback on the car for over 10 years and loved the SS tails.. Just couldn't make those work with the 10.5's.

Also, I've been following your thread. Love your car and what you're doing with it. Keep on keepin man!

So nice. Love the fact that you kept the stock hood. I never liked cowl hoods.

Thank you! We actually pulled the insulation and cut some of the hood bracing to make the hood fit with my old Systemax/Vortech setup.

I'll have to get a picture of the front of the car. We sprayed the cowl of the hood a black pearl metallic we had left over from an old Mercedes. I love it.

Edit- You can kind of see it in the 3rd picture.

Thanks again everyone. I appreciate the kind words.

Am I the only one that read that title, then started reading about how it was his birthday and he was taking his car out and thought "Oh no, someone has vandalized this poor guy's car"? Glad that wasn't the case when I got down to the pics! Great looking fox!

Love the wheels, are they 17 inch? Also I’ve seen some others say negative things about the 3 in FM tail pipes. That’s why a lot of people went with VRS. Bout they so look good. I have a 90 coupe and it has no tails at the moment because I just havnt taken to put them on.

Ditto! And what a gorgeous class Fox this one is. Love the black paint. Love the wheels. Love the exhaust setup!

Thanks a lot Bob!

They are 17's. 17x8 and 17x10.5 - The centers of the wheel are actually a anthracite color but it's hard to get it to come through. I was trying to match the center up with the black pearl metallic on the hood.

If I would have known about the tail pipes I would have just had an exhaust shop mandrel bend me a set. They cost me a fortune in the long run.

Good luck with your coupe, and thanks for looking!
