My wife is a teacher (27), so I asked her option on the situation. Typically these teachers have some other issues going on in life, they cross the line and tell the kids about their personal life (strike one). Kid's some what of a smooth talker, the relationship develops because they spend hours together of the course of several months, the kid is young and easy to talk to. My guess is some issue of rejection, whether current or in the past (rejection in high school). But why not pick up any guy at the bar you want and bang him over a 14 year old kid?

I'm still trying to figure out where these hot teachers are coming from? They weren't around 5 years ago, that's for sure.

Five years ago I was 21, single and had a teacher friend at fairly large Elementary school. So, I asked her to set me up with any teacher friends at the school. She tried to set me up with some 29 year old crazy lunatic. No one younger (my age) and hot.

A 27-year-old teacher was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexual misconduct with a minor after Goodyear police say the parents of a 13-year-old male student found text messages indicating sexual activity between the two of them on and off campus.

Brittany Zamora, a teacher at Las Brisas Academy Elementary School in Goodyear, was taken into custody Thursday morning at her home and will be booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail, Goodyear police said.

Police said a sexual relationship was reported to them on Wednesday night by the school's principal.

Yeah, I was chatting about it with a co-worker.

I'm wondering if there's an element of pedophilia here, or these 13-14yo's were just *that* attractive. I mean there's the element of danger as well, but cheating on a spouse isn't enough?

Also, my co-worker has friends who's son had this girl as a teacher. Apparently, she was well-regarded enough that parents were requesting for her to be their kids' teacher. Makes you wonder what the kids (and parents) were "well-regarding" her for.

How does bail work? Like let’s say you have a 250k house that’s paid for. Can you sign that over? A combination of assets? Or does it have to be liquid?

Bail bondsmen charge what? 10%. So it would cost her 25k to get a bondsmen to post it?

Typically you have to post 10% of whatever the bond is set at PLUS the bail bondsman’s fee if you go that route. If you post bail for someone, you’re also liable for the 90% balance if they skip town.
