I have fallen in love with a new watch and am now obsessed with obtaining one.

This thread is very strange to me, I think watches are nice, however it appears some of you need mental help. Watches are not a high priory in life when you look at whats going on in the USA and the world. The day will come when you will realize things won't make you happy for long.
What is going on in the USA and the world? Srs.

It can be an acquired taste, I've been fascinated by high HP cars, bikes, boats, firearms, tools, etc. from an early age, I didn't begin to really appreciate watches until I hit 40. Imagine a mechanical watch, no battery, that self winds and keeps time to ~+1 to -1 second a day. Plus while it seems straightforward in the pics below, remember these are less that 1.5" in diameter, Let me get my big 'ol ham fists in there, I sure couldn't work on them. LOL Below is a Rolex Daytona movement shown with and without the rotor.

LOLLLLLL then why do you have 1200 posts in a car forum?

PS, I'm thankful that I've been very, very fortunate in my life and don't need any help defining my priorities. ;^)

I don't grasp why people are into watches. But, I'll be damned if I'm going to tell someone else how to spend their money.

So uh.. you trying to compensate for something?

I'm more of a coca cola man myself. I wouldn't go for a Pepsi flagship rolex. Maybe a mountain dew one though. Pretty sure the dew has prevented me from having some oops babies thanks to lowering swimmer count.

Yeah OK OP. Guess I've just gotta say...

...

I'm with you 100%!!! I think this was a welcome addition to the line. As cool as the white gold Pepsi model was/is, it just isn't for me. Too heavy, too expensive and too delicate. They knocked the proportions of the Jubilee out of the park. It's a nice nod to vintage styling as well as a subtle departure from existing models. I've got an original Matte Dial Pepsi GMT Master as well as a modern, black Ceramic GMT II. Both on Oyster Bracelets and this thing would look perfect sitting between the two.

My only concern is that the red/blue colors of the bezel insert aren't quite what they used to be. Almost purple in certain lights. Regardless, just an awesome watch. Also, LOL at the misinformation in this thread.

Lastly, for those not into these watches, the red/blue "Pepsi" color scheme was introduced in the late '50s as a collaboration with PanAm Airlines and served as a flight tool for tracking multiple timezones on a 24-hour scale. Later, enthusiasts gave them the "Pepsi" nickname. It's a Swiss icon with a lot of American history.
