People like DBK with actual inside info have very good reasons for being careful about what they say... it blows my mind that you don't understand this. I know a fraction of what he does and I'm not blabbing about it.

Also, please explain how "everything points to 10spd auto".

Ok, Everything points to 10sp auto and you have zero proof of anything else.

I explained release/intro date delay (due to hard starting/oil consumption issues and the possible switch to a blown version)...although we still don't know motor and you have zero proof of anything else.

Any you still haven't provided anything to this thread other than to say "no" to everyone else who has posted...

When it's released we will see exactly how long they've been working on it and what occurred along the way (delays, motor changes, etc).

They are spilling the beans very soon as you are apparently very well aware of...not sure why you're worried about spilling them a bit earlier?

Nothing says you were right like posting up all the exact specs you are so certain of before this happens...

Unless of course you have no beans?

Now go back and do a search for the '07-'12 GT500 options. I forgot about the glass roof, but you couldn't get Shaker 1000 and Nav. It was either one or the other. There were no heated seats available at all. Forget about cooled seats. (All that extra fluff must be why people consider the '13/'14 the second coming.)

Look at the ****ing brochure. It clearly says heated seats... from fords own literature.

Cooled seats arent listed as an option for gts either.

Well, considering I don't have any brochures dating that far back... I don't know what brochures you have, but heated seats was not an option for '07 - '12 GT500s. (Well, the '07s might've had them available, being the first year. But those cars also had leather dashboards [available].)

You didnt say 07-12, you just said heated seats.

Heated seats were standard on the 13-14

Idk, the recent video of it shifting like a 10 speed automatic or the fact they developed it with Chevy who is running it in their flagship camaro?

How can you call someone wrong when you can't show otherwise? Asking for a friend...

Save yourself some face and just let this one go. DBK is in positions deeper and greater encompassing than that of your deceased friend. Your friend may have been a good dude, and here are my condolences. That said, DBK has nothing to gain from pointing out the things he’s pointed out.

This is a guy who basically knows where the 86’d assets lie, what the grays gave to technological advances, and how the big wigs at ford sweat in board meetings. He puts the screws to the fingers.

Let it go.

What will be your excuse then?
For what? Passing on what I was told? Shit, half the guys still think it's a 2020, lol. I said mid to upper 700hp and said 10 speed auto a very long time ago when there were still gt350 mules testing...betting those are both right. Original was tt 5.0, which I explained was probably scraped due to issues, but we dont know that yet do we? Time frame off due to obvious development issues and the introduction of Dodges car which had a huge impact for this project. MSRP around 75k loaded since day 1, we will see on that too. Carbon fiber wing...well clearly I was right on that even though my friend is unheard of supposedly.

Let's see what DBK has said: "no".

That's it.

Sorry if people get upset I passed along information, but at least I did that and didnt sit there and just say "no" to everyone.

Flame me all you want, I'll still sleep ok.

He literally has no idea how he's actually currently making it worse.

I'll make you a deal killer, if the GT500 is a 2019 5.0L TT with a 10-speed, I will literally give you my 2017 Ford GT. And then I will buy a 2019 5.0L TT 10-speed GT500, and I will crash my 2006 Ford GT into it, filled with 70 lbs of dynamite, while smoking a cigarette, covered in gasoline.

I already said there was probably an engine switch months back due to the previously mentioned issues.

How about you share some of the insider info you have instead of just saying no?

There's zero reason not to tell us with the magazine spill so close, yet you wont.

Make what worse? Not like I constantly told people they were wrong but couldn't provide any proof of why.

Do you really think I care what you think if I'm wrong on anything? I don't.

I'll still buy what I want and and enjoy it.

I'll still look back and remember how many of us tried to share information we were given and were constantly shut down by a man who could only say "no" and was afraid to post any real data.

I wont post anymore about what I think or hear, so be happy.
